Got the peach aloe tea with tapioca-- tasted great but was a bit pricey for me ($7+!)

Yummy drinks: coconut milk tea and mango slush. Very good popcorn chicken. The place is colorful but benches are little dirty.

I'm pretty much a regular here haha which I did not expect. Though I come pretty infrequently, they remember my order and I appreciate the great staff. Have only had the Red Moo Milk so can't say anything about the other items but it's a great and vibrant little shop with a very nice staff. read more

This spot is never busy, so I always stop by for a drink before heading down the avenue to Xi'an. I think they could've gotten away with charging hipster prices, but I pay the same here as I do in the Chelsea, Chinatown, LES locations. Also appreciate that tapioca is free, and the ability to customize the sugar level of my beverage. My fave is the grapefruit ice jelly with 50% sugar and tapioca, and my man gets the taro slushy with pudding and tapioca. read more

Kung Fu tea is a bit better, but at the end of the day bubble tea is bubble tea. The staff was really nice, and the decor has a fresh look. Will definitely come back but next time I would have to ask for more tea less milk and WAY MORE ice. read more

ok. I am a sucker for taro slushy. I don't even know why I bother looking at the menu for different options every time. I read and contemplate on each flavor and i always end up choosing the Taro Slushy and i skip the bubbles. I love the jellies. But w a slushy i feel like it doesn't need any road blocks. i love this place. i love it for its taro slushy. the staff is sweet too. they look like fun hardworking happy college kids. their non bubble tea items look great too. i have to try it. but havent yet. read more

The decor of this place is extremely cutesy and inviting; however, not my most favourite of bubble tea places. The choices of drinks are pretty limited compared to what I am used to in most bubble tea shops. Although the tapioca from this place was perfectly cooked, the flavours were not really bold. I ordered the honeydew milk tea and wasn't really all that impressed. The honeydew flavour was really weak and subtle. I also got the passion fruit slush, it wasn't really sweet or flavourful enough to enjoy. Overall, it was okay. I probably wouldn't go back unless it was convienent. read more

I consider myself a boba-afficianado ( but I dont know how to spell that) and this place has horrible boba. I actually came here twice because I forgot how bad their boba was. But as soon as I tasted the mushy boba my mouth remembered the horror. They also do not mix their drinks enough so the drink is cool at best. The second time, I actually got some food off of the menu. I was starving and it looked like a hotdog in a bun, not char su or whatever they claimed. Against all odds I still ate it. Got the thai ice tea bubble tea, not exactly is the usual taste i get from other places but it served its purpose it wasn't too bad. What i really liked about this place is that you can choose the level of sweetness (sugar) and ice as you order rather its 25/50/75/100%. read more

Umm, they had issues accepting change as a form of payment. Like what??? It wasn't like I wanted to pay $10 in pennies! I simply wanted to pay $1.75 of the total bill of $4 with excess change that I'd be carrying around which was quarters and dimes. This seemed like an issue for the cashier. I didn't realize that Vivi sold entrees along with their bubble teas. Pretty much addicted to their rice bowls now -- I bounce between the spicy fried chicken and the pork, both come with seaweed, fluffy rice and absolutely delicious! The prices are great as well! read more

Super big fan of this location because they are always generally friendly, the drinks are good and they also make solid meals. I recommend people try the braised pork over rice dish. The pork is super good its saucy and a little sweet. It tastes really well with the rice, hard boiled egg ands seaweed salad that is added in. I was excited when I saw Vivi was opening a location in Greenpoint. I love their bubble tea. I was also hesitant because as a long time resident I've seen places close quickly. Surprisingly it seems the neighborhood has been open to Vivi. I usually get the coconut milk tea. They allow you to adjust the sugar and ice levels. While the tapioca pearls are standard they do have other options. They have quite an extensive menu of drinks. Their cold drinks are extremely refreshing during the warm summer days. And in the winter you can choose from their selection of hot drinks (my go to is warm taro milk tea). If you are looking for a bite to eat they do have a small food menu. I recommend trying the different flavored popcorn chicken. They have ramen as well if you want something a little more substantial. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. And don't forget to collect your stamps for your reward of a free bubble tea. read more

The bubble tea is excellent here, great selection--the fruit slushies are as good as it gets. The staff is attentive and polite. The kitchen food is delicious (popcorn chicken and Yakitori). Love this bubble tea. I have a sweet tooth but 0% sugar is sufficient for me for the slushies. My favorite are mango and lychee. Their ramen is good even as a to go. My favorite is the pork miso. Just moved out of Chinatown and into Long Island city recently. Hard to find some good bubbletea around this area until I heard that there was a vivi in Greenpoint. I am literally thrilled vivi is in my neighborhood. They're ramen is delicious. You choose the broth option which is official. They are the sweetest people . When they called me to ask a question about my order it was a pleasure to speak with them and I was so glad they cared enough about getting my order right to call which most places wouldn't. When it arrived, which was quickly, it was beautifully wrapped ... in the sense the bags were very cute with the vivi graphics which are super cute. My tea was delicious. ViVi hits the spot when I'm craving boba... which is often! It's a cute cafe--everything's pink and yellow. There are 3 small tables in the back to sit down and enjoy your drink or food. The drink menu is large, and I've tried a lot of items on the menu and like everything. There's something very satisfying when you order a grapefruit drink and there's actual grapefruit pulp in there! The boba is chewy and soft, which I enjoy, but I also love adding pudding. As for the food, I usually get the spicy popcorn chicken, which is a generous portion for $3.50. They're dark meat cuts, with a very good ratio of chicken as opposed to fried. I've tried the ramen for delivery once, and it didn't travel so well because the broth was already served with the noodles. By the time I got home, the ramen noodles and other toppings were soggy. I'd suggest separate packaging... or just dining in. But mostly, come for the boba! read more

Love Vivi! I make special trips to Greenpoint just as an excuse to get my bubble tea fix! Black milk tea is my tried & true, with or without bubbles depending on mood. My sister changes it up most of the time with some of their fruity green tea flavors & hasn't been disappointed. The real winner? Their popcorn chicken! I don't know what they coat those things in, but it is ADDICTIVE! Basil & garlic flavors are definitely top 2! I ordered the Passionfruit Bubble Tea & the Pork Ramen in Tonkotsu broth. The tea wasn't super sweet which is perfect and the ramen was absolutely delicious. I've only gone here for the bubble tea which is pretty top notch. The only reason I'm bothering to leave a review for something so basic is because the two guys working there were very friendly. They also have one of those loyalty card programs. And just FYI $5 minimum for credit cards and most of the teas are $4.50 for the large size. read more

This place is pretty weak because they don't chill their tapioca bubbles. They are warm when they put them in your drink, which makes it super disgusting. The milk is also very warm, which means the drink tastes pretty bad. Bubble tea is supposed to be COLD not this warm gross stuff they make here. I don't recommend this place at all. read more
