Love Love Love. As an essential worker I work crazy hours and it's hard to find good food late at night. Our table had the Shrimp Mango Salad, Fried Pork Spring Rolls, Lemongrass Beef Skewers, Vietnamese Wings, Shrimp Summer Rolls, and the Beef Pho. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The beef pho broth was EXCELLENT -- warm, comforting, and truly soothing to your soul! And the Tropical Smoothie was top notch. So refreshing and delicious! If I had to pick a least favorite, it would probably be the Vietnamese wings, but honestly, that's only because they're grilled. More like 3.5 stars but rounding up. If you are used to eating Vietnamese food especially in Queens or somewhere else where Vietnamese food is plentiful and authentic, you might have a hard time looooving Mama Pho. However I do think that it serves an important role in the community here that is relatively deprived of good Asian food and it's kind of cool that you can get banh mi in Williamsburg. That being said, it's not the best banh mi i've had by far but it certainly scratches the itch. They also have boba drinks that also scratch the itch - not bad by any means, just nothing to go out of your way for. I think if you're in the area, this is a great addition to add to your rotation esp if you're craving Vietnamese. I come to this spot a few times after long nights out or if I need to make it to bushwick but need some pho on an odd hour! I have a few experiences here but the last one was so bad I had to make a review. Originally coming here after nights in Bushwick was great and we got good service with curing pho and amazing sandwiches. 4am is a great time to come here along with the day after on a Sunday mid day afternoon when you're hung over and need life. We have ordered the banh mi before and the ribeye pho countless times. We see the same workers all the time and while they can't speak too much English they try their best and usually food comes at the table at the correct time and Thai tea tastes fine! I recently went during peak hours because I went to rave at an early show after Illenium (12am) - popular dj for the Asian crowd and we found practically half the restaurant came from the same place and on top of that it was already busy and people were already upset at the service. There were so many people lined up and upset when we got in that I was quite overwhelmed already. Since we all went out we were quite tired and hungry so I think we ordered the mama pho, ribeye pho, Thai tea bubble tea, spring rolls and summer rolls. Pretty easy order but this time one of the spring rolls were frozen cold so we had to send it back to them but nobody answered our bell on the table. The Thai bubble tea really lacked any flavor and the bubbles were atrocious - I don't recommend. We asked the two Asian people who look like they're supervising for help but they didn't seem to care about helping us and try to redirect us to the workers which were the same 3 we always see. It made me sad to see one of the workers were going to cry when we needed to exchange a few things and asked for a new drink because it tasted like no flavor. On top of that we also ordered the Mango salad which seemed to take up most of their time and it came beautifully crafted. So I think that took up a lot of time so if you need to order the mango salad I suggest you have an extra hour to wait. The ribeye pho and summer rolls came out super fast while the mama pho came out much later which made our friends really upset because they were super hungry at this point and we had no napkins or chopsticks. I think this place definitely needs more workers during peak time. I was honestly so sad about the workers and how they're being treated at this establishment I sort of don't really want to support this place anymore. The people supervising didn't lift up a finger even when workers were about to cry or lose it from the amount of people coming in I really think they make enough money for more people. It's open 24 hours and food here is quite expensive we literally pay almost 20 dollars for a bowl of pho. The pho quality is fine and I think that it's not a bad choice after a long night out but I would suggest to treat the workers kindly. read more

Not sure what happened, this place is so good but they are doing some shady price adjustments.. menu price online, on toast tab, in store, and even the printed menu they place on the table have one price, and then they charge you $2-4 more for each item. I don't mind the Rib Eye packaged for take-out Pho's is served raw and the broth must be re-heated to 212F or above in order to cook the raw meat. But the potion of tripe and vegetable seems to be less and less overtime. Shrimp summer roll is just umm....., too much noodle inside and I'm not crazy about the sauce. Truly a 3 star based on the food, but the 24/7 hour + clean bathroom brings it to 4 stars. I have been curious about Mama Pho for almost half a year so it was great that I got to try it now. As you know, finding GOOD Vietnamese food in New York City is very hard. Either the banh mi has the soft bread that they used in the East Coast and the spreads they adapt for non-Viet tastes are off. Also, the pho at most places either has the most bland broth or the toppings are very low quality. I can truly say here that it is best to eat here. I was literally counting the ingredients to make sure that they gave me everything and they did. However, I did read previous reviews stating that they were missing items from their to go order and I saw that there are only 2 people working which can make them overwhelmed. Their restaurant style is inconsistent as you go up to order, but they bring the pho to you and bus your table? I ended up busing my own table as the workers were extremely busy and overwhelmed. Their pho also includes an egg which I have never ever seen before and I've eaten a lot of pho. I got the Mama Pho ($18.75) + tax which can get extremely pricey.
