Hands down the best decision I've made! I've been extremely scared of getting my brows (3D Microblading) done despite the horrible condition of my brows, but finally got the courage to get it done with a friend, who promised this place is the only place that'll make my brows more natural. The entire session took lesson than an hour (retouch was even less than that), but Teami took the time to talk me through the entire process, making me feel comfortable and went over my option of shape, color, and the darkness. I used some of the client's pictures on instagram as my samples and Teami drew the shape of what my new brows would look like. The place got this mellow and relaxing vibe and the staff are extremely nice and friendly. My 3D microblading came out better than I expected and even though she said it's bit dark when you first get it and will fade eventually, I didn't even think it was dark at all. I arrived at the office 10 minutes early because website said if I was five minutes late she would not take me. When I got there the door was locked, so I texted her but no reply. I also called her but no answer. 15 minutes later I texted her again, but no reply. I waited until 9:30, but eventually she didn't show up. She texted me back an hour later, that "I'm sick. I didn't tell you". Are you kidding me? Don't you know the client's appointment status? If you are sick, you think it's ok to no show without any notice? Even though she didn't show up without a courtesy notice, I still tried to be nice and I suggested to change my appointment for the following Saturday, but she hasn't texted me back so far and it's been 4 days. Bottom line: Taemi is a true artist and I would recommend her to any one of my friends looking to do semi-permanent make up. I decided to go with her because although nowadays you can scroll endlessly through multiple instagram accounts of microbladers, not all estheticians who microblade are equal. She has over 8 years of experience, is certified, and she is also a trainer. I think that pretty much says it all. However, everyone has their own opinions when it comes to artistry. I looked at a few different clinics and used before/after pictures to my advantage. By looking at the details of how the strokes were created and the brow shapes compared, I decided to go with Taemi and am so glad that I chose wisely. We had a discussion of what type of shape, intensity of the color, shading vs no shading. She was really helpful in explaining if I didn't understand and provided her recommendation without being pushy in any manner. After she drew the outlines, she noticed that one brow was naturally a smidgen higher and redrew the brow to create mirrored symmetry (this isn't something I noticed on my own, but I guess 8 years of doing this, you can see what most people don't). I was interested in the shading which would make your brows look like they were filled in, but since it was something that I hadn't even thought about until she explained that procedure to me, so advise me to just think about it and when it's healed I would be able to really tell if I wanted it shaded in (for a darker appearance) and on my (free) touch up session I could do it in conjunction--this says a lot about her business ethic. It's day four of healing and after the fifth day I can go back to hot yoga (heavy sweating is not advised for the first five days following). It's already looks so good even thought it's a bit darker during the healing phase. I'm so happy with the shape and how natural the lines look. There is a parking lot (yay!) and the entrance is on 6th St. Facility is clean and only one-time use needles were used for my procedure. read more
