This was the best decision i've EVER made. I've been self conscious about my eyebrows my entire life. I will start off my review by saying that these ladies are so helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, I am not happy with the result of my eyebrows. I'm someone who suffered from over-tweezed brows and dreaded drawing my eyebrows on everyday. I came across their Instagram page and knew this would be the best choice for me. My first session was amazing (Michelle did my brows) and I loved the results but my eyebrows were still sparse. Michelle recommended that I eventually add shading to my eyebrows the next time I come in for a touch-up which is $300 extra. The second session was a touch up and Michelle also shaded my brows this time around. During this session, I remember feeling a deep stroke on my eyebrow and I flinched; Michelle gasped and asked if I was ok. I didn't think anything of it. Yet, now that my brows are healed, I have a small uneven stroke on my left eyebrow and it's noticeable in some photos, which is kinda embarrassing. The stroke is dark and does not look apart of my brow shape which makes me believe this will just turn into a scar. In photos, it's noticeable and you can see that it is uneven - mostly from my side profile. It's made me sometimes hate taking selfies because my eyebrows look oddly shaped. My recommendation to anyone who has over-tweezed eyebrows is to definitely make sure you like the shape they suggest for your face - perhaps draw them the way you like them before you come in. I did love their service, but not very happy with the results after paying a hefty $800. I'm hoping that they will fade soon - already noticing red strokes though and fear that they may never completely go away. My advice to anyone who is looking into micro-blading (especially those with over-tweezed brows) - do your research on the healing process and how they look after they are faded. read more

Where to begin?.... How important is finding the right place to have your eyebrows microbladed!? So much pressure! So I was willing to spend a little more if need be, to ensure I would have amazing results. I researched yelp reviews over and over and finally decided on Caress. I was going to spend $1600 for a place in Hollywood after watching a video of a fitness model (Paige Hathaway) getting hers done, but I read all the negative reviews and I'm glad I stayed away. I saw Michelle. Appointment response time was incredible! She replied to me through yelp, after business hours. I had a complicated schedule and was traveling from the Bay Area to see her. She was so accommodating and sweet. First session. After filling out the paper work, I sat and waited with the numbing cream on my eyebrows. There are two applications per session. And the first hurts like hell. Haha. She said I had thin skin (which holds the color well), so I found it to be pretty painful. After Michelle applied more numbing cream and let it sit for a few minutes, the remainder of the appointment was a walk in the park. There's a 4-6 week wait for the touch up appointment. I'll be honest, I liked the results after the first session, but I fell in love AFTER my "touch up" session. My eyebrows were sooooo thin, so I had shading done as well. The peeling wasn't too bad. Make sure to follow all of Michelle's aftercare instructions. Second session (6weeks). Waited for the numbing cream to take affect and once again... ouchy!!! Haha. I waited 15 min in between, then she did the final application. I am so in love with Michelle's work. She is a true artist and perfectionist! She took her time to ensure my brows were finally even (after I destroyed them with over waxing). She also explained every step. Super super amazing experience. Love love love my results. I get compliments on my brows all the time. I don't have to add any shadow to my brows, but if my hair color is Auburn, I'll add a touch of red brown to match my brows. My eyebrows before microblading were VERY sparse and uneven. I would have to fill my brows in every day and I was unhappy with how they looked, especially by the end of the day. I got my brows done with Julie and I cannot emphasize how amazing of an investment it was. My brows look AMAZING. For how little of hair I had in my inner brows, they look amazingly natural. This is truly a 5 star rating. I've been coming to Caress for about 3 years now. And I love each and every touch up with Michelle. For this review, I wanted to write this after touch ups and exposure to the elements (face washing, rubbing the brows, cleaning it with makeup remover, etc). Needless to say, I am still in love with my brows. Honestly, it's taken up to this point to finally feel and see that my brows are reaching the point of satisfaction. I've always had the weird brows....one side was always too thick and the other side was always thin so no matter what I did, there was an uneveness to them. Even after my first few touch ups, one side was always the problem child (one side retained the pigment better than the other side). Michelle worked her magic and made them more even by customizing the color for each brow and providing the right amount of strokes. Having to wake up and feel confident in my brows and knowing that I don't have to color them in is such an amazing feeling. It truly feels liberating to not have to worry about my brows being bald, uneven, and crooked. And the amount of time it saved me from trying to make it look decent is wonderful! This review is for Michelle who did my microblading For my first time microblading I went with Michelle who my cousin recommended me to. I scheduled an appointment online with a $100 deposit. I was impressed with how busy she was. She was all booked up for about a month in. On the day of, I came early and was told to wait for a bit because she was with a client. While I was waiting, she applied numbing cream to my brows. Once she was ready she called me into the room to go over my color of choice, shape, and look. The room was pretty big and the bed was pretty comfy. I laid down and she stenciled out the outline to see if it was okay with me. Once I was happy she asked my girlfriend to leave for the procedure. She took about 5 minutes on each eyebrow. So each session was 10 minutes for both eyebrows. After each session she had me go to the waiting room to wait for about 10-15 each time. She would call me back to the procedure room. We did three sessions. The entire process took about 2 hours to complete. Once I finished, she had me go back out to pay the remainder of the balance. She gave me a print out of the directions and answered any questions I had. She also scheduled my complementary retouch which is to be done 4-6 weeks from the initial appointment. I'm on my second week right now and it's starting to slightly peel like expected. So far though I am loving it. read more

If you're serious about getting your brows done, this is the place to go!!! I am super happy with my results!!!! I don't wanna sound like an advertisement but if you want fuller, darker, symmetrical, AND natural looking brows, Caress is the one!!! They are so sweet and take their time drawing your brows. Not only do they measure the right brow shape for your face, but her coloring is superb!!! My friend and I got our brows done and the same time and Julie was so nice to schedule us in together. The process takes about 2 hrs but it goes by pretty fast... Just make sure you eat before you come haha!!! I wont lie, it hurts, but they put numbing cream on and there is really little to no pain after!!!! WHICH IS AWESOME!!!!!Maybe a little tightness and itching while it is healing but really nothing to complain about. As your brows heal, you'll start to notice the fine details of their work and how natural they look!! Note: Don't freak out when you first get them done, just wait until it starts to peel and heal (about 1-2 weeks?). Follow their care instructions and leave the cream they put on until it goes away. It'll look funny and shiny for a bit but it's worth the end results! Every time I hear someone cry about how annoyed they are with their brows, I recommend Caress. After rounds or research, I decided to entrust my eyebrows with these ladies. I have short, uneven eyebrows and I always wanted longer and gently curved eyebrows. After requesting for an appointment via Yelp, I was contacted by Julie. The interaction over the phone was professional and reassuring. During my appointment, we spent a chunk of time refining the shapes. One thing I learned during the process was, the shapes I desired may not work well with my native brows, my bone structure and muscle movements. Michelle also came in to brainstorm and consult. I went to Caress Permanent Makeup to get my permanent eyeliner done for the first time. I always wanted to do it but was worried about the pain and the results. I came to Caress Permanent last week and Michelle and her partner made me feel at ease. They both took care of me and made me feel special. Michelle put numbing cream on my eye lids and she made sure I was comfortable. During the "tatooing" part there was some discomfort but that is usually to getting permanent make up. After it was over I was given an ice pack to help with the swollen and discomfort. I was given a after care sheet of paper. I was told the swollen would go down in couple hours and it did. The next day I had mild swollen in the morning. I was swollen free since. I wasn't able to wet (wash my eye area until this morning). I just used face wipes to wash my face (except my eye liner area). I would highly recommend if you want to get your eyeliner or any permanent make up done to get it done at Caress Permanent Make up. I met Michelle and her amazing mom, who was one of the first to use permanent make up in Korea, last Saturday to get my eyebrows microbladed. I know literally every review is like this, but I have never met a more deserving business owner than Michelle and her mom!!! They are nothing short of ANGELS and MIRACLE WORKERS. Microblading isn't exactly pleasant-- despite copious amounts of numbing cream, a blade is still slicing your face open and a semi permanent ink coats the indentation to create.. BEAUTIFUL LOOKING FACIAL HAIR. Despite my intolerant, crybaby-esque demeanor during the process, Michelle was a DREAM as she answered all of my questions, and even made me forget I left my apartment without eyebrow make up. During the recovery process, I was SLIGHTLY skeptical still because I did have the whole "irritated scab bush" look on my face in addition to them being chunkier than I would traditionally prefer. As a week has almost passed, they thinned, scabbed up, and reformed.. like an eyebrow caterpillar my facial hair (or lack thereof) BLOSSOMED. I got my eyebrows done by Julie and I could not be happier with the results! I did a lot of research on Yelp and Instagram about microblading and decided I would make an appointment with Caress since their results were exactly what I was looking for and their price was reasonable. If you want good results, you have to pay the price. My mom got her brows done several times in the past and cared too much the cost and I think her results suffered. Both Julie and Michelle were extremely friendly and talked with me during my appointment. After I showed her a few photos from their Instagram and Yelp, she made her suggestions and penciled an outline of where she would microblade. I was pretty picky and commented on areas I wanted different. After agreeing on the shape, length and width of my future brows, Julie did her thing (of course I had numbing cream, which can make the experience virtually painless). Julie was very good about noticing if the numbing cream was wearing off and made sure I remained comfortable. After about a month to six weeks I came back for my complimentary touch up sesh. I thought my brows already looked pretty good and took the color really well. But I did have a few areas I wanted touched up. Julie noticed exactly where to add more hair strokes and I did want my brows to come a little closer together and wanted them slightly lengthened. She was happy to make the changes although she didn't recommend going in too far to the middle of the face cause it could look unnatural.
