When I first came in, my skin barrier was in really bad shape from trying way too many products and doing way too much to my skin. They told me my skin barrier was super thin and needed a lot of TLC. After consistently coming here for the past three years, my skin barrier is SO much stronger, my skin is clearer, and so much more glowy. I only wear a tiny bit of concealer in my day to day and get SO many compliments on my skin now. This was not the case before and I owe it all to Joy (my facialist)! Joy is my facialist, and she is truly the best. I absolutely love seeing her and look forward to every facial. Her treatments feel like a combination of a lymphatic drainage massage, extractions, and LDM all in one. It's so relaxing, but at the same time, I always leave feeling like my skin has actually been taken care of and reset. She knows my skin so well and always knows exactly what I need. Anytime I have an emerging pimple, it completely disappears after my facial because of her work. I also get microneedling here about once a month or every other month, and it has completely transformed my skin texture. I really appreciate that they don't just do the same thing every time, they look at what my skin needs and will add things like red light therapy or whatever they think will help with healing and getting the best results. I also get Botox here, and this is genuinely the best place I've ever gone for Botox. I've had some pretty bad Botox experiences in the past, including in Korea, where I really hated how it looked. At Irene's, my Botox is always done very conservatively and naturally. I still look like myself, just more refreshed. And to top it off, the entire staff is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and I especially love seeing Irene and Edward there. Every time I walk in, they greet me with the biggest smiles, and they are just the sweetest, nicest people. *** Sorry in advance for the lengthy review*** This is the third place I've visited and tried for permanent makeup around the LA area. I've been two other reputable places I read on Yelp and paid a fair share of money hoping to have my eyebrows the way I wanted them to be like...natural and yet similar to when I draw them on. My eyebrows are not as full as it used to be due to over-plucking and bleaching them for so many years, so I've decided to do my research and look for the best places to permanently makeup. Sherri was the first person I've visited. She was very nice but it's always a long wait. She always seems to overbook people in one appt. so waiting is expected if you go there. The biggest con is that she only had black ink at the time I went to her. My hair is brown so it never matched well. Plus, she free-hands my eyebrows so it's a scary what I might end up with. It was hard to communicate to her what I wanted because there was a big language barrier between us. I went to her a total of three times and still didn't get the shape that I wanted. Bottom line...my eyebrows were tattooed the way she thought was best on me but it seemed to make my face rounder than it is now. A year later, I tried CC when I saw that her reviews seemed pretty good. She was also very nice and spoke pretty good English so language was not a barrier here. She said she would help fix my eyebrows for me but I have to pay the full price. My eyebrows ended up turning out to be way too arched so I look kind of surprised when I smile. Then a few months later, I decided to give Camille a try but this time for eyeliners. I was very, very nervous at first because I'm afraid it would hurt really bad or damage my eyes. I've been contemplated this for so many months, and today, I've decided to just take a big risk and try it. Camille is very funny and sweet. She sat me down on a chair and began to draw in the eyeliner. It's different than how I would normally draw them on. It's more Asian style but yet look natural according to her. What made her stand out above the other was how she looked when she saw my eyebrows (anxious/irritated) . She asked me if she can fix it for me. I told her I spent so much money already and it hasn't turned out the way I wanted. She kept telling me it was way too dark and not natural (true). I told her that I'll think about it. She shades them in and it was pretty amazing. And since I've already spent a ton of money on them already that I'll think about it. So she continued to draw on the eyeliner. Still, it looked different than what I wanted but she says that it will look natural after it heals and I will like it. Now for the scary part, the permanent eyeliner. She kind of taped my eyelids in place and applied numbing cream. I was terrified and wanted to kill myself for even going through this after what had happened to my eyebrows. So as I am laying there, she started the first couple of strokes. I felt the sharp point and flinched. She stopped and applied more numbing cream, she waited for awhile until I was numb and comfortable to start again. So it wasn't too bad after all. After she was done, Camille kept looking at my eyebrows. She kept telling me if she can fix it because it was too dark and the shape was not good for my face...it was too arched. I don't know what came over me but I said yes and paid full price for her to "fix" it for me. Overall, I felt Camille was the most detailed. She spent a lot of time working on my eyeliner and d eyebrows. There was still a big language barrier but she at least draws them in before she works on them. My eyebrows look better, less arched and a little more brown showing, it's still dark and not exactly the shape I wanted but at least she tries and spends a lot of time on them, fixing it and making them less thick and dark. The eyeliner look better after they healed. I went in for a touch up yesterday and she spent a lot of time on both of them and I never felt rushed with her. A big bonus...there's no waiting. Overall, I think Camille is the best of the two. She's patient and does listen to my needs and tries to fix them. She said if it is the way I like it, I can come back for another touch up within the 2 months for free. Am hoping the next visit will turn out to be the way I've been wanting them. She's detailed, funny and great at what she does. I highly recommended her! read more

love Forever!!! I had my eyebrows and eyeliner done, which has made my life so much easier. I started makeup very young and ended up having to draw my eyebrows everywhere. Some hectic mornings it was a pain to do. After going to forever, my eyebrows are perfectly shaped! I never realized how different someone can look depending on how artisticly their makeup is done. I called panacea and the owner, Trisha answered all my questions and concerns. She seemed really sweet and trustworthy so I went in for my first visit. She gave me a discount for my first time and told me I could get second touch up appointment for free! The procedure lasted about an hour and after it was over it took about a week to heal and I put on Vaseline everyday as she suggested. It was super dark at first and I was concerned but she said it would fade, and it did! Now I get sooooo many compliments on my brows and when I tell everyone it's microblading they can't believe it. I now refer all my friends to her and even though she's new, she's been practicing for a while and she kicks ass!

I love that it's easy to book with Rachel online. The building is easy to navigate with a parking garage on Catalina St. There's free parking there if you let the garage staff know you're there for Rachel. Rachel is always super attentive. She texted ahead of my first appointment to ask what kind of look I was going for. She walked me through different types of lash curl types and helped me settle on one that I liked. Rachel always asks how my lashes hold up between appointments and checks in throughout applying the extensions to make sure I'm comfortable. She's a meticulous technician and my lashes always look so pretty afterward! The LED extensions have amazing retention and allow me to use whatever makeup I want around them with no problems. Would absolutely recommend Rachel if you're looking for lash extensions!

There's quite a bit of information out there and not all of it is good: some of it is downright frightening with inferences of infections, poor results, etc. After all, this is our face, right? Anyway, I met with Lorena and told her to please be "conservative" with my new brows: she was and they are wonderful. It's only been 2 days and I can see they will be awesome. She was very attentive, considerate and really wanted to hear from me: my concerns, my desires, my hopes. Even though I told her many times. I was a "pansy" for pain, she didn't mind. I will tell you the initial "pass" with the blade was a little painful, but after the Novocain was applied (several times) everything went fine. Coming from "Miss I Don't Want to Feel Any Pain", that's quite a statement. So, take it from someone who was exceptionally scared, cautious and skeptical, I am very pleased. Lorena is a great gal, a professional, a wonderful technician and a caring human being. I have no qualms about referring her to anyone who wants to bolster their brows and their look. My husband even is considering doing it......can you imagine that?

At one point, I have to find her on IG, because she was not responding to my text messages Another point, I wasn't sure if her number was still working She used a picture of my hairline as advertisement on her website, it is from the day of the procedure, all ink in that picture fell off within a week. See screenshot below. It appears like she is all happy, service oriented, until something goes wrong. She did my brows before, that went well. But as soon as my hairline fell off completely, and did not go as expected, she became very unprofessional
