We went to Vivida in 2024. We experienced challenges in getting anyone to actually answer the phone but we had appts so we kept them for a visit in November of 2024. Due to the lack of service we switched dermatology practices in 2025, one that could actually answer the phone and return calls. In June of 2026, both myself and my husband received a bill showing 120 days past due from our service in 2024. Insurance paid their portion and we should not have had any other balance due. How does a business send a bill (first bill) showing 120 days past due when they chose not to bill is in 2024 or 2025? Of course, requests for a return call have not happened even though we have requested multiple times for a return call. Would not recommend. read more

Dr Peine and his staff are very knowledgeable, professional and patient oriented. I have seen several other dermatologists in the St George area but this was my first visit to Vivida as a result of recommendations by several friends. Dr Peine biopsied a suspicious growth on my face and it was confirmed by the lab to be a squamous cell carcinoma. He performed Mohs Surgery and lab tested the removal of all cancer cells, a procedure taking just one visit. I can't speak to all the other services offered by Vivida but if you have concerns about skin cancer and you want the best possible outcome, Dr Peine is the surgeon to see. read more

Everyone here is considerate and friendly from the moment you enter the door or call on the phone. The scheduling process is pleasant, you are greeted and respected here. I've seen Brooke Larson and Michael Warren - both are amazing. I couldn't believe the level of care I got there once. I burnt my arm with a curling iron and it got infected. Brooke drew a circle outlining how far the infection had spread, provided her cell number, and advised me to call if it spread further. It did within the hour and she advised me to to ER to get an IV treatment to avoid a blood infection which would have been nasty and costly. Even the little things they do are so comprehensive and professional. I can't even express how pleased I have been with their service. read more

I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Larsen! First, I was very impressed with her resume and reviews online. Scheduling with her was a simple process and I was able to get an appointment within the week. On appointment day, my wait time was reasonable. The front desk ladies were very friendly and nice. When I got into my room, Dr. Larsen asked if a few medical assistants in-training could stay to observe. Thankfully, I consented, because they were all so kind and helped me with my baby who'd tagged along. Dr. Larsen was extremely thorough in checking my skin. She also explained everything she was doing, made sure I was always comfortable, and perfectly balanced reassurance with education. I did have one mole removed. First, it was literally painless!!! I'm afraid of needles and kind of a wimp, so I was very thankful and impressed with her skill! Second, she knew I was a cash pay patient, so she made sure to discuss costs with me before doing anything, and helped me brainstorm the less expensive ways to do things. Payment at the end was easy, and the charges were very reasonable. I feel so blessed to have found this office and Dr. Larsen! read more

Save yourself a call if you are a new patient and need to be seen soon. The wait time to get an appointment for a new patient is 9 weeks. I am new to the area and going through the process of establishing medical care providers when needed. On 9/29/2021, I called to make an appointment and let them know the appointment was for some type of sores on my neck and into my hairline. I was told the next available appointment for new patients is 12/7/2021 which is much to long to wait for medical treatment. read more

I was very impressed with this office from the very first contact of making an appointment. The staff is very professional and friendly. They are very compassionate and caring and seem to really enjoy working there. Dr Peine was very informative on the Mohs surgery I was going to receive and performed the surgery with perfection. Excellent, professional service. I've been to two other local dermatologists, and Vivida is by far the best. Appointments are quickly scheduled. Front desk staff is extremely nice. I saw a nurse practitioner, and she was friendly and personable. And she did a very throughout job examining my skin and responding to my questions and concerns. I have actually been here several times now for removal of possible skin cancer spots over the years. I never have to wait long in the waiting room even if I show up a little early. The staff is always very nice and helpful. I usually see the nurse practitioner Brooke who is always more like seeing a friend than a doctor. She's quick and very efficient and I'm usually out of there in a very short period of time. If she's worried about a spot she recommends a biopsy but usually she just burns off the spot I'm worried about. She never pushes for more procedures than I need so I trust what she recommends. read more

I had a good and a horrible experience over the phone today. I give 2 stars because I called in today to Vivida I'll start with the good part I spoke with Lupe she was excellent she had great customer service and resolved all my issues thank you for showing so much care and concern Lupe. Now the bad part I had the most disgusting and rude person I've ever encountered thus far in billing I spoke with Nicole she yelled and yelled had no understanding at all she was rude did not give me a chance to speak Nicole was extremely emotional. She kept asking me for a invoice number she was really nasty with me I did not appreciate that her tone was very loud and she yelled a lot instead of trying to hear me out. If I have to call back I hope I do not get Nicole she is horrible needs some training. Also she hung up on me. I called backed had a better experience with Lupe she was great. Talking tO Nicole makes me not want to deal with Vivida she is very unpleasant. I love Dr. Peine only reason I will come back. Beware Vivida needs to train there rude employees read more

I had an excellent experience at Vivida Dermatology. Doctor Steven Peine was very professional yet pleasant, and he was also a good listener. The atmosphere was relaxing and cheerful with TV & snacks provided to help pass the time while waiting for the biopsy results. The patient's choice of music was played while the doctor put in the stitches, making the experience better than expected under those circumstances.
