It has helped me to tone and burn fat and I am sure it is reducing my cellulite. It has also helped with my flexibility and gets my blood circulating and increases my metabolism. When I have been on this machine I have so much energy it is great. It says 10 mins on the machine is like an hours workout in a gym, well I certainly feel invigorated afterwards. While I was there I noticed a Collagen Red Light Therapy machine. So I had a go on that and it was great so I booked a course. It is for reducing wrinkles, scaring, joint pain, firming and toning skin and for relief with Psoriasis, Eczema and Acne and for helping beat the signs of aging and is safe for all skin types. It says it helps by increasing Collagen production. Well what can I say, it has certainly made my skin feel better and quite toned, I feel lovely and refreshed when I come out of that booth. I am also sure it has helped with my wrinkles, my whole body feels moist and smooth. Jayne is so helpful and knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. She always offers, water, tea or coffee after a session. I will certainly be continuing with my Flabélos and Red Light Treatment.

The centre is set in a house on a leafy road in Whalley Range just opposite the Spire hospital. It has a cozy rather than clinical feel to it I went for a 90 minute aromatherapy massage with Emma. The consultation was based around my muscular concerns and any aches or tension I had. Emma then asked what oils I wanted and whether I wanted relaxing, uplifting or a tension soothing oil mix. Oils blended the massage commenced with Emma working her magic on my lower back and shoulders, then thighs, calves and ankles ( I never knew that soooo much tension could exist in your ankles!) moving on to arms, neck, face and scalp. I came out feeling pleasantly relaxed and peaceful and at £48 for the treatment it was very reasonable. I've booked to go back again in 2 weeks time and may see if I can get a cheeky Indian head massage in in between. Would definitely recommend giving the centre a try it's good for your well being!

In the lead up and with the coronavirus situation, I contacted them several times to ask what would be happening with the course, with the possibility on pulling out, because I am in a high risk group for the virus. I received absolutely no response from the school and still haven't as of today (5th April). This is absolutely unacceptable. They have £550 of my money and have taken no responsibility for what is going on. I just hope that I can get the money back by going through my bank.

Bloom bloom has just recently moved a few doors down into bigger premises and the the inside has been very professionally done. There are bare brick walls alongside clean crips lines and the atmosphere is very relaxed indeed. As this was my first visit I had to fill out a health card. The staff are very warm and I felt like I was very well taken care of. I was told by Vicky, who was the owner, that they don't usually offer massages to male clients but they do make exception for partners or close friends of people who already use the beauticians. I was to be given my massage by Faye and she made me feel very relaxed and there was a very un-rushed feel to the whole experience. I explained that I had never had a massage before and was a little bit nervous as I didn't know what to expect. Faye was very reassuring and put me at ease. The massage was brilliant. The massage table was lovely and warm. I never knew that a massage was such a complicated thing! The time flew by and before I knew it, it was finished. I had asked for a sports massage as I go to the gym 3 or 4 times a week and I felt that I would benefit from a thorough massage. After the massage it was suggested that I hang around, drink some water and not rush off as some people can feel a bit woozy or spaced out. This was the case with me and I was glad I didn't rush off. The staff are really friendly and talkative. I know that this is a bit of a feminine environment but I was made to feel very welcome indeed. So after a glass of cool water and a long conversation I headed off home. Will I be back? Definitely. I think it is time that I started to treat myself a little from time to time. Had my legs waxed first, nice and hygienic salon with clean paper on bed and a towel to cover, put heater on when I said it was cold. Although she didn't check if any hairs had been missed and had patches of wax on my legs and feet, so my socks stuck which was visible during shellac on toes. The shellac hands and feet were nice even though there was no exfoliation included, good choice of colours and very neat and thorough application. The only part I disliked was the cuticle removal on fingers as it hurt and left them looking a bit rough and raggedy. Needs to be more gentle even if cuticle are 'overgrown'. I got a voucher for 15% off next time, I would visit again if I could afford it. I would recommend it to a friend and anyone in the area looking for a local friendly salon with good standard of services.
