They have a magician in the lobby and they were playing bingo in the back bar area. This hotel is located right next to the van shell so you can go watch a band at night you can hear it right from the pool very cool. I will be back.

We rent from the Ocean Vistas property and have not been dissatisfied in any of the three years that we've vacationed there. The property is immaculate. The check-in process is efficient. Parking is assigned. The rental unit is clean and nicely appointed, and we've rented different units each year, so it seems to be a habit with them. During this time of COVID, we've had to cancel our vacation plans, twice. I would say that Dennis and Carmen were very fair and reasonable when working with us. So much so that I cannot see renting with anyone else, not only because the Ocean Vista properties are great, but because they've proven to be great people too.

This hotel was right across the street from Ocean Center where we would be headed the next morning. The hotel was massive having a south and north tower with 16 floors on each side. My roommate and I were ocean front on the 12th floor, nearly in the middle of the south tower. WOW, what a view! I didn't realize until arriving to the room there was no balcony. However, you could open a regular size sliding door to see and hear the ocean. There were bars like a balcony in front of the sliding door but you could only step out one foot on the tiny platform. I left the door open while I was reading and it was so peaceful to hear the ocean;) Parking was nearly two blocks away on the opposite side of the street and across the street from the entrance of Ocean Center behind a barbecue restaurant. This was a bit of a pain pulling the luggage that far. Plus you had to go up a steep incline to get into the lobby. I could have paid an extra $20 for parking overnight if I had used the hotels valet service. No thanks lol! We did get a discount for the parking lot because we were attending the conference. Instead of $35 it was $20 (with taxes $23). The hotel was a little dated. The light over the sink flickered. But did stop after the light was on for a little bit. The beds however were up to the Hilton standard as well as the pillows, nice and comfortable. I shared the room with a friend from church. I liked the feature of having an extra sink and mirror outside the bathroom. There was a mini fridge but no microwave. The desk chair needed replaced as the seat was very worn in. Service at the front desk was friendly and they helped answer all my questions about parking. It was a little confusing because you didn't have a ticket and I couldn't figure out how I would get out of the lot when the conference was over the next day. But the front desk attendant advised they would have someone at the exit gate to open it when the conference let out. And they did;) Thanks for a comfortable night's sleep Hilton! I would stay here again if attending a conference that included a discount code as this hotel was pretty pricey.

The water also does not go away at the sinks quickly. Really a cleanliness issue. The bath tub is broken too. Also the hotel can get some upgrade: it's really run down. Swimming pool can get an upgrade too. There is a mini fridge for you to put drinks. The beds are ok but can be better maintained. Carpet can be cleaned better. Will probably not come back to this location. Parking is $55 for valet. Opposite outdoor parking is $35 with in and out privilege and $25 per day for no in/out.

The condos were good--one had furniture that was a little tired, the other was better. It's a great location on the beach with beautiful sunrises. The area around the pool is a little narrow for lounge chairs. In both condos a new renter was arriving the same day we checked out. Our deposit was to be returned after a walk through was completed (this per one of the owners). We assumed this would happen before the next renter checked in that day. However, it took several inquiries and over a month from our departure for our deposit to be returned. RLM

At first, the peeling paint in the tub and on the balcony, as well as the water heater in the closet made me think we were in for a difficult stay. Nothing could be further from the truth. We loved our stay here. And honestly, for the price, it was easy to overlook some of the disrepair. Pros Easy access to beach Very very clean facility (yes, two verys) Stunning ocean views Clean pool and spa Walking distance to restaurants Grills available to BBQ Friendly housekeeping staff Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need! Did I mention how clean the fridge and stove were? Veteran parking! (Thank you for your service) Cons Maintenance staff was a little grumpy Pool/spa closes at dusk. Old man Smithers (maintenance) will stare angrily until you leave. (Other guests come back after he leaves for the day, we did not) Pool bathrooms are basically in the gym bathroom. They are no where near the pool. No in room laundry, but for about $5 a load there is a washer and dryer on the 5th floor. It is a timeshare, so they will try to get you to attend their presentation. (We did not) On Wednesday we remarked at how wonderful it was to sit on the couch listening to the waves, and how quiet it was...NEVER say that. Thursday night we got new neighbors who could not figure out how to close their door without slamming it, played loud music and talked over the loud music. We took a day trip Friday to get away from the noise, but someone must have complained because they were quiet Friday night. If you're not Daddy Warbucks, this is a wonderful place to spend a few days.
