My family doctor realizing a grave error was made referred me another dermatologist who reviewed the report and he then removed the proper lesion with minimal damage! I had gone to Dr Alanen for many years and was mostly pleased with his service however this was too serious to overlook. He offered up a flimsy explanation, but I will never trust him again or go back to Derm.ca, Please do your homework before going to this clinic and seeing Dr Alanen.

The other reviews surprised me as I have had a very good experience at this clinic. I haven't pursued anti-aging treatments so I can't speak to that side of the clinic.

Good morning all. I am back and require some help with a…read moreproblem I have found myself in. Here's the facts. Over 2 months ago I had a procedure done called Halo on my face and upper lip. Dr. ARLETTE performed this I was told a 7 to 10 day recovery time. Unfortunately that's not my experience. As I said that was over 2 months ago and I am still suffering. Here are the side effects I am experiencing My upper lip is still quite red It is very dry and cracks daily I can no longer wear lipstick as it bleeds 10 minutes after application I have experienced nerve like twinges that happen whenever. (These come and go) I did get a second opinion and was informed the effects I am suffering are a direct result of the procedure and basically it was what is was. Not great news I returned to Dr. ARLETTE this week and were given a couple of options 1) Botox or filler with a 3 to 4 month life even if it worked. My experience with Dr. ARLETTE with theses procedure did not go well and I was quite disappointed with it so not really an option 2) Just wait and see. Don't use any product on you face, no creams, no serums, no makeup. Clean with a mild cleaner (which he gave me a pea size container of for the next month) and cover my face with Vaseline Twice daily). Restart using a prescription cream he had put me on early to help clear up the eczema that had developed. Apparently I was not given the correct aftercare information which also lead to having to take an antibiotic. So here is were I am at. The reason for this posted is to hopefully connect with anyone else who has experienced any after effects from this procedure What's happening to them now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Any Dermatologist readings this HELP Also, I am a 60 year old women and my computer skills are not the best so I am looking for a computer technician to help me get this out to as many Social media sites to hopefully connect with some who can help me! Foothills hospital is my favourite hospital!!! I don't like hospitals and obviously don't want to…read morego to one, but when I have had to, I will always ask to go to Foothills Hospital. I have always had the loveliest staff and best care!!! Dr Mrkjonic did surgery on my leg that was broken in three places. She is the best!!!!! And there is a gent in the cast clinic- lovely- can't remember his name but he's good for a joke or two. And all the nurses I have had the pleasure of talking to- all so kind!!! I do pray that Covid is over soon so we can all breathe a little easier and ALL people PLEASE be more careful especially when driving. slow down- make it easier on our care people!
