Do not use this facility for Rehabilitation because the facility will bill your insurance $8,500(85…read morehours ) for 20 days of rehab (5 week days) at 1.5 hours per day at a rate of $350 per hour (amount they bill your insurance )for a combined 1.50 hours of PT, OT and ST. 1/2 hour each. In addition to billing the patient/resident $5,400.00 for the same 20 days of rehab. Thus $13,900 for 20 days of 1.5 hours of rehab per day x 20 daya=30 hours $13,900÷ 30 equals $460 per day x 20 days of 1.5 per day (3rd party PT therapists) who are only being paid $100 per hour. The facility gross profit of $360 per hour. If you are someone ?who requires more PT good luck as none of their residents ever walk out of their own). As most are still wheel chair bound or using a walker when they leave if their lucky. After all if they fully rehabilitated their residents the facility would go broke. They are 50 percent short staffed because they can't retain good nurses or aides because the pay is low. 25 percent are contract so Covid is an issue. They Covid test the residents every 3rd day at $250 per test they charge the patient or insurance.Reason being too many contract employees thru 3rd party companies.

I had such bad pain that I didn't think PT would help but to my surprise it did help to the point I'm fully recovered now. It was easy to book an initial appointment, they are popular so can be difficult to find the perfect time unless you are willing to wait. I had a primary PT that I saw most of the time but also saw some others. It started out very easy and simple with stretches and other things and gradually had most of the type of exercises I do. They asked about what/if any strength training I do and they were able to incorporate most of the type of exercises that I do that could have lead to my initial problem. I was very happy with how much progress I made while I was going here and if I have some other physical problem where PT might help, I will come back here again.

We brought her home that weekend and the loving and caring staff not only got her comfortable but more importantly, she had a series of falls the last few months before this hospital visit, so she had not walked for almost 8 months. She was started on some muscle strengthening exercises, given some tender love and care, and not only did she make it through the weekend, but she walked about a month later for the first time in a long time, and lived almost 7 months after receiving such initial devastating news. The continuous care nurse spent extended periods on her phone while wearing earbuds and failed to recognize that our aunt had died; the chaplain who entered the room was the one who noticed and asked the nurse to check her. Even more distressing, our family first learned of her death through a text message of condolence from the care home rather than from hospice staff. This level of inattention and lack of communication during a patient's final moments is unacceptable and represents a profound failure of basic hospice care.

When our mother had a stroke in the summer of 2024, she was placed under hospice care. It was clear…read morethat her quality of life was diminished. At first, Arcy Hospice checked all the boxes. However, it was abundantly apparent that the nurses and social worker were not familiar with stroke patients and the atypical pattern of decline seen in stroke patients. Nurse Amber yelled at the patient's daughter when the she called Amber out on several issues. These issues included but are not limited to: manipulating PPS scores (and other metrics) for administrative purposes to justify releasing patient from hospice care, inability to maintain professional conduct, and lacked any ability to show empathy. Nurses Debbie and Sharice were even less professional. Madi, the social worker, was a disappointment to our family as well. Please look elsewhere! The patient passed TWO WEEKS after being released from Arcy's Hospice 'care'. The thing that is MOST troubling is that not a single nurse or administrator reached out to offer condolences to the family after the patient passed. After almost a year on hospice, the family and the patient deserved more than silence. Arcy Hospice takes zero accountability and has no respect for the truth. The owner lacks integrity and offers nothing to mediate conflict between family members and the administrators and nurses. Please look at other options in the community. There are better hospices in Flower Mound and the surrounding area. Avoid Arcy - your loved one has an innate right to compassionate care that Arcy Hospice simply cannot provide.
