He has these signs advertised in his office which I think is a conflict of interest. He's slow and he only has bedside manner to patients he likes. I witnessed all this yesterday when I took my dad there. When he met with my dad, he didn't wear a mask until 5 minutes later and he left the door open so another patient came in to ask him a question when he was looking up my dad's medical insurance. That is HIPPA violation. I will be reporting to this the medical board. If you have similar experience, or your parents get switched insurances because him, report him. read more

Once again the front desk staff are so incompetent and do not take any responsibility for the outcome of their lack of actions. My dad is now unable to get an important imagining diagnostic test because this office waited too long to start the appeal process... I had to do their job for them and call insurance multiple times and then update them on what was happening.. are you serious?! I had to call this office like 3x a week for two months... I think they should have gotten the hint and updated me on what was happening instead of making me constantly call back and forth... Please hire people that actually care about the health of their patients! You can clearly tell these people lack the training to make this office successful. This place was completely awful and very not helpful or useful. If it is possible to rate this a negative 5 stars I would have definitely chose the negative five star option. First, let's start off with the building. It's very small and cramped. The doors and windows are shut tight and the air vent on the ceiling doesn't even work. It was very stuffy and dusty in the waiting room and I had trouble just breathing in the room. The room needs to be cleaner. I saw a lot of traces of dust balls and gross loose hair. I suppose you can't expect much better since it's located in a very ghetto and busted part of town. Second, let's talk about the staff, which consisted of only two people.The service was incredibly awful. Not the friendliest doctors, that's definite. There was very little people there. I was the fourth person waiting, but I waited more than 2.5 hours sitting in that dusty stuffy room, with minimal ventilation that can be considered legal for people, just to meet the doctor. The doctor himself was not very helpful. I had come in with a cough and a serious runny nose, and muscle soreness. After doing typical doctor things, (checking blood pressure, heart rate, etc.), he neglected my main concerns and brought up a irrelevant matter. He told me my major problem was that I'm fat, and insisted I should cut down on eating cookies and candies. I haven't eaten cookies or candies in years. He kept telling me I should really start looking into vegetables and fruits, as if it was a very alien thing to me. I do eat a lot of fruits and veggies in my diet. Overall, I waited more than 2.5 hours to essentially just be called fat and very overweight. Actual concerns about coughing and headaches and muscle soreness were minimally addressed, and he spent the majority of the only 6 minutes we spent together talking about how fat I am. The doctor keeps going out of the room while in the middle of check up. The clinic is also dirty and the medical equipments are not clean enough. Dr. Vo is a rare find. He is my Primary Care physician. This year is no different from the first. Dr. Vo listens to me as his patient, and he has made sure I have gotten thorough lab testing to get a true picture of my health. Dr. Vo has also has sent me to specialists when I needed care or equipment he did not have. Dr. Vo makes me feel like he genuinely cares about my health, and I am not just a number to him. He does his best to be informed, including by listening to me. From my experience, I have witnessed that Dr. Vo stays focused and leads the course to meet his professional objective: to help his patients be in the best health they can be. His peer, Dr. Nguyen has also helped me, when Dr. Vo was unavailable. The staff has been caring and wonderful; Including Stephanie, his Physician's Assistant, Ishmelda, office manager, was my first contact at reception from my first appointment ~5 years ago. She has helped me many times; from scheduling appointments with Dr. Vo that would not cause me to needlessly miss work, to helping to expedite a referral. Anyah in office reception is also very helpful. And when I called today asking what was the best time to get a medical-information-form completed with a signature, she did not hesitate to show a happiness to assist... yet did no guessing. 100% incompetent! I would give negative stars if I could. I have no idea how this guy got his medical license and I wouldn't be surprised if he has caused serious harm to his patients. He's called in wrong prescriptions with a strength 8x more than what it is supposed to be, sent in he wrong dosage, sent in the wrong prescription to be refilled, sometimes has never sent the prescription in, not to mention that he can't even send prescriptions to the pharmacy unless he's been contacted 20x. Please please for your own safety and health avoid this doctor and his incompetent staff at all costs. They have a totally disregard for the care of their patients, lacks empathy, and doesn't understand what a medical emergency means. They are okay with basically giving wrong information, diagnoses and medication. They put themselves first and love to make patients wait for help. Not the brightest bunch. I came to pick up my mom after her appointment, which they made her wait at least 4 hours to be seen and this is pre-covid and had no idea where she was or who she was. They were not even concerned that an elderly patient was missing. Just a deer in headlights stare. I agree with the review that said they can't communicate and the one that says the building itself looks shady. I've repeated myself multiple times ending the conversation unsure if they even understand and I will be reporting him to have his license revoked. I am appalled at the institutions that granted him a degree and license in the first place. Both doctor and staff are rude and need a lesson on customer service and basic human courtesy. I would also say Dr.Vo needs to go back to medical school but he's a lost cause with no chance of even passing. read more

I wouldn't recommend going here if you are looking for a comprehensive diagnosis. I usually go to this doctor for a first look to see if I need to go for a more thorough diagnosis. This place is the worst. I scheduled my first apt 2 weeks out. Once the day came (no confirmation call) I showed up 30 min early only to be told the doctor had "an unexpected meeting and wouldn't be back for 2hrs" I left furious after the reception asked "are you sick or something?" Does it matter? I scheduled two weeks ago! I work and go to school full time and don't have a lot of extra time on my hands. I got home and finally calmed down enough to call and reschedule, I was told the doctor was back (it hadn't even been an hour). So I drove back and saw the doctor after about an hour wait. He's very old, and has a very thick accent. Luckily we made it work. I'm at my second visit, not by choice and have been waiting over an hour. I just watched some dressed up guy walk in and out over a span of 20 min, clearly a friend in for a quick visit. One of the other clients waiting with his daughter cussed the guy out as he walked out the door and almost ran after him. Needless to say, this place is a hot hot mess. I'm only giving this place 1 star because there is no option for 0. After reading only one other review that Claudia left, my experience was very similar and I was certain that this is how they handle business. This doctor was chosen for me by my insurance and I needed to get a referral to a specialist for my knee ASAP. So I didn't think that would be too hard considering I only need them to send a simple fax to another doctor. I was wrong. I pull up and the building looks like an old crack house. On the inside it didn't look much different. There was a dinner plate on the floor next to the toilet in the bathroom and all the windows had bars on it. Definitely didn't feel like a place I would want to get help from if I was sick or hurt, etc. The staff is incompetent. A few of them are nice, but just not in the right industry. After repeating myself to the doctor about my problems 3 times because of some sort of memory loss, him asking random questions, and performing unusual techniques for a simple physical, I can say that I wouldn't be surprised if this doctor never actually received his degree. After all of this goes down, I am on my way out with them sending the specialist a referral, I call the doctor they try to send me to and of course... THEY ONLY DO HANDS! Every employee in this building knew I was there for my knee since they all asked over 10 times. Now its the next day and I've called 3 times because they never actually sent the actual knee doctor the right form and for some reason they keep telling me to call back every 15 minutes. Learn the same lesson I learned from my mistake, take the time, effort and money to get good insurance. Don't go here! Staff and Doctor are awful. I was feeling bad and needed an appointment right away. I should have realized how sketch this guy was by the outside of the building and when they said they only took cash for the deductibles. I got there and neither of the staff said anything and I finally got one of them to acknowledge I had an appointment. After filling out some paper world and listening to the other desk receptionist listening to some lady blab forever after she had pushed her child's stroller into the corner I was brought back to answer my new patient questions. After that I was told to go back in front to wait for the doctor back in the waiting room by asked me to pay my deductible but that my change would be made by the doctor. Anyways after a while I went in to see the doctor and tried to explain to him my situation but he is older and hard of hearing and made me feel uncomfortable and really did not have any bedside manner or made me feel like he had any medical education either. What was even worse was trying to get them to call in a prescription! I tried four days in a row and nothing after talking to them saying they would call every time I called. My last straw was when I got a hold of the Doctor being paged after hours and he said there was correct way about going about this and I explained him his staff was too incompetent to handle this all week long. Either way it was an awful experience. Don't go. Save yourself a headache. read more
