I liked her so I stuck with her. Anyhow, this medical practice has a number of doctors and it works efficiently. You can generally get an appointment easily and they also have walk-in hours. When you first enter you check in at one of the windows, depending on which doctor you are seeing. I have never had to wait more than ten minutes in the waiting room before being called back for blood pressure and weight and all that stuff. Once that happens in a clean, well-lighted nursing station, you go to another clean, bright exam room to wait for the doctor. There are also centralized printers for prescriptions and blood work orders so everything happens quickly. Even though this is a bit far from home, I will keep going here. It's a solid place to see a doctor.

He's quick and isn't ashamed of searching up information on his computer in front of you and search together on the topic discussed. It shows that he's not a know-it-all and that doctors aren't encyclopedias. I really like how he talks and makes sure that if we have any problems with his actions or words to let him know so he can grow and work on himself to be the best doctor for his clients. His clinic offers a lot of other help: chiropractor, foot clinic, physiotherapy, dietitian & nutrition counselling, weight loss help, psychotherapy, behaviour analyst etc. They speak: English, French, Cantonese, Mandarin & Korean (depending on the person). I saw Dr. Antoinette Mikhail to have 6 stitches removed from my back. After several minutes of scrounging to find scissors and tweezers she instructed me to take my shirt off with the door open. She then began digging at my back at which point she remarked, "these scissors are very dull, they are making this difficult." Didn't I know, it was my flesh she was picking at. She got up and left the room without explanation leaving me sat there in my bra with the door open, and returned with a more appropriate looking set of tools. She then proceeded to use a dental pick type tool to dig 2 "half stitches" out of my back, swabbed me with alcohol and sent me on my way. This was 4 days ago, I have since removed 3 half stitches myself and am quite certain there is a 4th still under my skin. I would not recommend this clinic for much more than a flu diagnosis. I had a medical issue 3 months back that began with a visit to the medical centre which was actually my first visit. The medical issue turned out to be an emergency and Dr. El-Batnigi and staff were very comforting and providing me with the professional care I needed before heading to the hospital. Since that visit I have been back a few more times for a check up and to refill my prescriptions at the very efficient well run on site pharmacy. In addition to the on site pharmacy they also have an on site lab to get your blood tests done. It is a very clean and organized well run clinic and family practice. I had a bad experience with Dr.Mojhan Farangi, the female doctor others have given low star review to! Made an appointment, it started 45 minutes late (no problem), but she kicked me out after exactly 4.5 minutes. I showed the doctor a cyst (pilonidal cyst, super painful). Doctor prescribed antibiotics, said she will refer me to a surgeon in a few weeks. "Prescribed" over the counter Tylenol for the pain. Then she started ranting and raving about how now she has to write a letter and I am creating too much work, and cuts me off before I can mention a related problem. Ranted some more about how I didn't do my blood work last summer, I'm a bad patient, etc etc. Sent me away. 24 hours later I was in the hospital. The first thing they did was give me morphene since by that point I was in agony. The surgeon at the hospital said that antibiotics do not work on this cyst, this is basic medical knowledge, there is no protocol to prescribe antibiotics. Throw them in the trash. It needed surgical intervention right away. Back to the emergency room the next day for more draining. If I had stupidly listened to this doctor and sat at home taking antibiotics, waiting for one of their many receptionists to organize a referral, I could have had an infection 15cm deep that would have needed to be cut out of me. Please trust your gut, if you went to this doctor and she dismissed you, get a second opinion. There are other doctors who are knowledgable and professional, don't stop looking.
