It makes so much sense I'm really surprised more places don't do it. The doctor here is amazing and the services they offer are really above board. They do a lot of things that the other walk-in clinics in the area do NOT do, like on-site blood testing. I walked in on a Sunday after cutting my hand to hell washing a glass that broke, to see if I should go to ER to get stitches or if I was ok. The doctor fixed me right up, cleaned up the wound, bandaged it all, and had a tetanus shot all ready to go. I was in and out in 10 minutes. The only downside to this place is the parking is in the rear and it's easy to miss the entrance to the parking. Just look it up on Maps before you go and you'll see you can just wrap around the back and there's a ton of parking. My wife took on the doctor here as her full time doctor and is over the moon with him so far. Great place.

With my scary experience with my son at another clinic just up the street, I swore I would never go back to that clinic. Even though the other clinic is rarely busy and I am in and out within a half hour I won't return to that other clinic. The doctor at that other clinic seriously jeopardized my sons health by misdiagnosing him and not treating him with medicine. These doctors are thorough and they care. Especially when it comes to children they are very thoughtful and concerned for their health.

For example if you have stuffy nose instead of taking a medicine he recommended a steam inhalation with vicks and it works like a magic. That's what i want with this doctor, he is so concern with his patients rather than the money he'll get from the med rep :) He is very friendly with kids and a very nice person in general. We are just lucky to have the best doctor in town. We actually live far away from his clinic but we drive a long way just to get a good treatment. This is a doctor who cares a lot.

Appalling. Unprofessional. Very unsettling practice and management…read more Fyi. Visited Richmond Hill walk-in clinic on October 2nd, 2021. I did not have my updated health card on me at the time. I was charged $75.00 dollars to see a doctor. I paid with the understanding that I would be reimbursed once I supplied them a renewed Health card. I supplied an updated card a week later. I was then told that OHIP could take up to 3 months to reimburse them and that their head office in Alberta would then send me a cheque asap upon their receipt. I have called several times for reimbursement. I have spoken to numerous people at both their Richmond Hill and Newmarket offices. I have told my story repeatedly and spent hours on the phone trying to get resolve. I have been told that head office did receive repayment from OHIP, in addition to being promised that someone will call me back. They refused to give me a manager's name or any contact information on who is responsible for reimbursement at their head office. Today I spoke with someone again. Once again, the Richmond Hill manager was not in and they would do their best to have someone call me back. To date...over 7 months later... I have not received any reimbursement. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
