I came here to look for a dress for my friend. I loved the personal attention that she received, and the variety of styles, brands, prices, and textures that the dresses had. The attendant was very helpful and patient with my friend, who had "no idea" what style she wanted upon entering the store. We were there for a few hours, and they never made us feel rushed or like we had to make a purchase on that date. Overall, it was a great experience. read more

I had a great dress shopping experience overall here with 2 exceptions: I went in on a whim one day a week before my appointment just to look with my MOH and ended up trying on a couple (sales lady was pushing it). I wish I would have known they offer a discount if you buy your dress on your first visit, and that impromptu visit cost me a discount opportunity. My second disappointment is with the size of the dress I ordered. Once I picked my dress they took my measurements and convinced me to order a size larger then my actual measurements cause they were "close" to the next size up. I got my dress in and it absolutely swallows me. It's going to cost half as much as the dress did to get it taken in. I trusted the staff's experience but I should have listened to my gut and stuck with my size. I guess they assumed I was going to gain weight? read more

I have been looking forward to shopping at Vocelles for my wedding dress since they opened. The staff and the selection of dresses exceeded my expectations. I am plus sized and was worried that they wouldn't have any samples for me to try on. When I scheduled my appointment they assured me that they had larger sizes, and they didn't disappoint. I was so relieved to find my dress in less than 2 hours. I picked up my dress last week, and it was more beautiful than I remembered. The staff at Vocelles was so accommodating to the large amount of people I brought with me. Vocelles is the only place in this area that I would recommend for your wedding dress. read more

The first and last place I went for my wedding gown! As someone who lives in Atlanta, I figured I would pop into Vocelles in my hometown while visiting my parents for the weekend. I figured we would find a greater selection in Atlanta so we had the objective of just trying on different silhouettes to get an idea of what we were looking for. I was shocked by the variety of dresses in vocelles and I found "the one!" My mom and I felt NO pressure to buy right then but, we figured, what's the point in looking elsewhere?! Jazmine helped me find my gown yesterday, and it couldn't have been a better experience! Vocelles has the high-end feel to it, without the 'uppity-ness' that you would expect from a higher-end bridal salon. They do require an appointment though - no walk-ins - which makes your entire experience altogether more personal, less rushed, and gives the bride the attention she needs. As we were trying on multiple dresses, my dress consultant Jazmine never made me feel uncomfortable. She was sweet, eager to help me find what I loved, and 100% understanding of my budget, time, and needs. She was also very attentive, as was the shop owner, who stopped by to check in on us and help a time or two. Here was a HUGE plus, too: I never felt pressured to buy from them, like you do at lower-end dress shops! Jazmine kept referencing her own wedding, completely understanding my need to shop around and go with a designer/dress that shipped quickly due to my quick engagement - 3 months quick! I ended up buying my gown there (yay!), and Jazmine was kind enough to check on Bridesmaids dresses within the same appointment. Of the brands that Vocelles carried, none were able to ship in time to her shop, but she went so far as to check other shops and lines for me to see what our options were. I am so excited to go pick up my dress from Vocelles this weekend! I had to reschedule my original appointment to work with my sister and my mom's schedule. They were so considerate! They were considerate about what I envisioned but they also had me try on some dresses that were a little different too. I couldn't be happier with my experience because they focused not just on my dress but also on my mom and sister as well. They felt like they were really involved in the process as well. Had to get my measurements taken for a bridesmaid dress. Measurements were taken privately in a fitting room. But then the owner called out all my measurements in front of all the fellow bridesmaids and said what dress size each portion of me was the equivalent of. It was so embarrassing! Vocelles Bridal was a DREAM experience. I can not say enough good about this place and I recommend it to anyone I can! It has a boutique feel, but with very affordable prices. The stylist I worked with, sat down and got to know me and my style and made me feel so comfortable. They had an amazing variety of dresses! Any shape or fabric that I wanted to try, they had it. A BEAUTIFUL bridal store in Tallahassee. The owner, Kristen, and her girls all seem to have a genuine love for what they do and are incredibly sweet and helpful. Though I had already found my wedding dress, I still needed to find dresses for my bridal party, which included three girls under 12. The girls at Vocelles had no problem having five (albeit well-behaved) children in the store, and trying on dresses. The designer whose dresses I fell in love with online was available here (Alfred Sung), and even though I had initially thought the dresses would be too formal for my beach wedding, seeing them in person and on the girls was an incredible experience. The store also recommended a tailor in Tallahassee who produced beautiful results for the women and girls in my family. I highly recommend this gorgeous store! read more

I adored Vocelles!! I made an appointment with Vocelles, I took my mom & sisters with me, and it was the most fun I've had wedding planning! As soon as I entered the store, my stress dissolved. We were the only clients in the store and I felt so special and well taken care of. Kristen was my consultant and she was fabulous! She pulled dresses I said I wanted to try, let my sisters pick a few, and was so helpful and calm while I narrowed down the gowns. I tried on 11 and once I narrowed it down to my top 3, I knew right away which one was meant to be mine! I highly recommend this store! They were not only very professional but so kind and genuinely happy to help me find my dress! And not only that, all the gowns were gorgeous! It was tough picking just one that I loved!! My budget was $1500 and every gown I tried on looked much more expensive. I felt absolutely beautiful on my January wedding day. Customers who come in to try on one dress should be treated with the same kindness and sincerity of service as those who come in for 1-hour fittings. A stylist may feel like a customer is a waste of her time, but the customer should *never* be able to tell. Just because a bride isn't buying her dress that day, doesn't mean she's not hoping to one day purchase her gown from your store. I've seen my friends treated like queens when they've gone to Vocelle's for longer fittings. Thanks for making me feel unwelcome and judged on my very first bridal appointment, when I was supposed to feel excited and special. If you allow brides to make one-dress appointments, you should be just as helpful to them and make them feel just as special as the ones who come in for longer appointments. If you don't plan to do that, then don't offer the appointments. read more
