The…read morebike was fine and the service was excellent (my water bottle was too big to fit in a standard cage, so they lent me a satchel for it at no extra charge). They had no problem with me returning the bike after hours, either--I just locked the bike up to the rack outside the shop with the lock they had provided. My only quibble is with the routes supplied on their website--on my first trip, I headed out to Tea Hill and China Point using the terse directions on their site and soon had to switch to navigating with my phone. (On the second trip I took, to the North Shore, I used a day trip route provided by the city's tourism department, and that was much easier to follow.) I would definitely rent from here again, though.

When we asked for something besides the regular pedals the bikes came with the friendly staff offered to install SPD clip on pedals and loaned us the appropriate shoes at no extra cost. Also loaned us helmets and bag for the rear rack at no extra cost. And as noted by Tara Z. we also returned the bikes after hours and locked them in front of the shop without any problem. The service was amazing. We would return to MacQueen's without hesitation.

This downtown Charlottetown store celebrates Anne in some surprisingly good ways. We say surprising because this isn't your too-typical souvenir shop with lots to ticky-tacky items for sale. Even the Anne dolls are as cute as can be, though we wonder if you have to have red-hair to work here, as it seemed to us. But there are grown-up souvenirs too, among them some attractive pieces of clothing (yes, definitely some gloriously old-fashioned Anne dresses) and things like exquisite English teapots, saucers and the like. We thought it was most appealing, and even the bumper stickers were sort of classy if that doesn't sound positively peculiar. Anyhow, the store is well worth a visit; if you don't know Anne, you should.

Thankfully I was wrong. Elizabeth called me at 10am to let me know the flowers were ready to be picked up. The customer service was great but the flowers were even better. I chose the "Hot Pink Valentine" arrangement from the website and upgraded to deluxe and all I can say is WOW. Elizabeth's work far surpassed all my expectations. Truly the most beautiful arrangement I have ever seen! My mom cried when she saw them and said she's never received such a beautiful bouquet. It looked much more expensive than they were! The message I had requested was beautifully handwritten which is so much nicer than the computer generated messages I've received in the past. Thank you Elizabeth for the BEAUTIFUL arrangement. You really helped make my moms day.

As well the bathrooms were so super small and no baby change tables sadly. Although the fresh food was amazing! So much fresh salad we were all glad to have so much greens on our plates. The lobster spinach quiche was delightful, our group also ordered the crab cakes, chicken bacon wrap and kids cheese pizza.

I fell asleep during the pedicure. Great comfy chair, tilted back and I was given a blanket; boom! I fell asleep! Ha! And Brooke did my braid for me before we went out to dinner. Love Brooke! She did my hair last year as well. Now while mom was getting a service done I paid for 5 massages + tip money. I asked them to call mom in June for a massage then surprise her that it's all paid for. End of June rolled around and mom hasn't told me she's had a massage. I called and left a VM. Someone called me back and stated they didn't have mom's info?! What?! How is that possible when we filled out the client info sheets?! Let alone that I could have sworn that was given when I purchased the massages. Fine, here's her info. I was disappointed about that. Mom has been enjoying the massages and still loves Martha! I called in last week to book mom a spa day for her birthday which is tomorrow. When the lady asked for mom's name, I said Mary C. Oh she's the cutest thing! She's so lovely! So I'm happy to hear that she's been going in and she's so memorable. I called mom and said: your services are paid for, I hope you book the services on your birthday! Happy 76th birthday Ma! Only $85/hr for an RMT massage, which is really reasonable, considering you get the spa experience + massage. I was also asked to choose two Aveda essential oils, from a lrg collection which were used during the massage. Absolutely five stars!
