Junior definitely has an unusual approach. The fact, however is that he took me from receiving decades of comments like, "please don't sing" to learning how to make a song sound good. I've tried several vocal coaches, and all of them have told me to do something other than sing. I always knew that was bad advice, even from the "best" teachers in town. I decided to make one more attempt to learn how to sing and I'm glad I did. One thing to realize is that learning to sing, especially if you have been repeatedly discouraged by teachers is that learning to sing, like most other difficult tasks is a journey that takes time and practice. Singing is such a personal thing that we tend to be easily discouraged, especially when a teacher isn't helping. Junior won't put that roadblock in your way. IMHO most other teachers off you vague advice that is difficult to implement. Junior's approach doesn't do that. One day I was watching YouTube music and felt inspired by the singing and that's when I said I want to learn to sing! I started searching the web and Yelp for local voice lessons.
