The restaurant was great and a step up from the also delicious but more classic corner dining experiences in the area. We plan to return and look forward to the Inn's continual evolution and warm hospitality as we explore Michigan's incredible Upper Peninsula.

The carrot cake was good and there's a large serving (three people could split this and feel happy). The restaurant is warm and inviting, feeling more like a homey cabin than a restaurant. Though our water was never refilled, and the waitress wasn't very friendly, it was nice to get out of the hotel for an hour. The restaurant was nicely appointed, with fresh flowers at each table. Our server, Kayden, was a friendly local college student, and provided attentive service, A bottle of grand Traverse rosé, wild mushroom Rangoon's, gumbo and green curry whitefish, rounded out with a butterscotch Budino and an espresso martini made for sweet dreams.
