She then says "you need 43 units to fix that" (meaning my whole face because she wasn't focused on any particular area at the time) I was so taken back that she said "to fix that" I said um excuse me? She said "not to be rude". I then continued on, to give her the benefit of the doubt, and let her know it sounded like a lot since I am fairly young (34) and have never received more than 20 total units at a given time with very great results! She literally said "go back there then, because that's a miracle"!! Who says that to a customer and when they own they own salon!?? I should have left after her first unprofessional comment. How ignorant do you have to be to represent your own salon this way? I felt like I was in a twilight zone, and was completely disgusted as I have never had an issue with anybody I've ever seen for any service. I got up to walk out and she continues to try to back track saying, I can have our other gal come in to tell you what she thinks!! Ummm. No. Thanks. Literally the whole…read moretime, I kept thinking to myself that I was already there and I should take it for the best (I tipped reasonably because I felt bad between it being holiday season and my not being vocal about the experience at the time). The stylist and facialist/manicurist were pleasant and I was told it was a salon in a home but I didn't expect that the facial was in the same space as all the other service areas or that the home included dogs that came out to greet/bark. Luckily my allergy to dogs is relatively minor. This is the first big difference from most other places. My skin was okay when done but I saw (in less than a half hour after leaving) some break out and definitely the extractions were peremptory at best. I still have some areas that needed work. What you also are not getting: calm lighting, eye covers to protect from the bright overhead lighting, warm towels whenever the face is washed off or sufficient amount of humid air to open up pores for best results. Also, the facial is done in the same small front room where there is a hair wash bowl, a nail station, and nearby is a hair station. When someone else is there, there is no possibility of quiet and the music is whatever Alexa plays (that day was medium to high energy music). I also had a manicure and it was okay looking initially but nails were not cleaned underneath, I noticed a small cut in my cuticle line, and a day later 4 of them were chipped/peeling so the "dazzle" polish that allegedly stays on extra well either was defective or badly applied. Overall, not an experience I want to repeat and I don't see myself going again. I will say it was good to have my desire not to talk too much respected.

What a great idea to help those of us who are not trained and educated wound specialist to care for this very delicate and easily infected areas on our parent's body. Annalise is amazing. She cares about her patients and the care she gives them. Each weekly visit she helped guide me to what a properly healing would should look like and what products we needed to order for my Mother's healing. If Analise hasn't gotten a paid day off to just pamper herself or a pay raise she should! She is a top-notch professional who took the best care of my Mom and all her wounds.
