Their team understands proportion, and it felt like the furniture was made for the space. The inventory is high quality. Many times potential buyers asked if the sellers were still living in the space, because it did not feel staged... meaning, the furniture had a nice flow and the kind of lived-in quality that helps buyers immediately see a place like it's their home (rather than the sometimes stiff or uncomfortable effect with other staging). One of the best things about the Staging Tree is the option to pay with credit card, which is very rare with stagers. So helpful for sellers who are incurring a lot of other preparation costs. Disappointed - Warning - Sandra from Fresh Home Staging requested a $4,000 deposit towards a total…read morecharge of $5,000 to stage my very small one-bedroom apartment. We agreed upon a $3,000 deposit as I thought a $4,000 deposit was too high. Luckily for me, my apartment sold off the market weeks before it was to be listed. My realtor contacted Sandra TWO WEEKS before the staging was to be done and she refused to refund all or any part of the $3,000 deposit. The contract did state non-refundable; however, it didn't seem reasonable that she would find it conscionable to keep the whole $3,000 deposit. My expectation was for a reasonable conclusion. Not to mention my realtor uses her often. She gave him no regard either (favor to a frequent client since she works with him often). Very disappointed in how Sandra handled this situation. Overall, bad experience, and I would not use this company again.
