I would recommend avoiding VP Remodeling for the following reasons: - They require a 50% down payment up front and they press HARD to get you to pay as soon as they are done so you don't have time to find their mistakes. - The owner is incredibly unresponsive and will not own any mistakes by the crew. - There is uneven tile throughout the house I can do nothing about. - The grouting was incomplete at many locations, just gaps between tile. - The showerhead was not secured and wobbles. - The shower worked before they got there, and did not after they finished the shower. I was only able to get them to do that because although they pressed hard to get payment right as they were leaving, I held the final payment until they came back and fixed it. They left an unpainted drywall patch in my newly installed drywall. - They broke a tile during installation and just left the pieces in the closet where they didn't expect me to see it until they were paid. - Shelves were installed in properly and wobbled, one eventually fell and replaced, had to reinstall the shelf fittings. - The drain they installed clogs up constantly so that water fills the shower, never had a problem before. Overall, it was a subpar job for a relatively cheap price. I only used them for tile, hopefully they are more apt at other services the claim to be able to provide. However, with them not offering to do a walk through and trying to get offsite and the way they pushed on getting final payment immediately after finishing (as in, still packing up their tools), I would have been left with over $1,000 in repairs on a less than $10,000 job if I had not held back the final payment. Do yourself a favor and find an honest contractor that takes pride in their work and owns up to their mistakes. read more

I live in Sugarmill Woods in Homosassa, Florida. I worked with Donito from the Orlando VP Remodeling location to have old carpeting removed and installation of Laminate flooring in two rooms. Not one of the biggest jobs but obviously important enough that Donito was helpful, patient and professional. Together we came to an agreement for the installation, which included moving the furniture, agreeing on a reasonable price and an acceptable retainer fee that we could both live with. Payment was made via Zelle through my bank, which provided appropriate money transfer records in addition to our emails covering the agreed transaction. Within a week the installers were at my door. There were two of them, both polite, patient and extremely motivated to please me as their customer. They worked in a professional manner, virtually non-stop, with 70 percent of the work being done the first day and a promise to be back early the following morning. There's no doubt these two installers strived and succeeded in doing a quality job and achieve customer satisfaction. Clean up was done as they progressed throughout the day, leaving the job site clean and ready for the next day. In today's world it's refreshing to deal with a contractor and their installers that exceed customer expectations. I will recommend VP Remodeling to my friends and neighbors in the Sugarmill community and to anyone else that might be interested for a stress free and reliable home improvement project.
