He basically knowingly ripped us off. He collected $9000 upfront to buy materials with the understanding material would be delivered right away and work would start. Nothing happened and he mysteriously disappeared for two months. When the work started he would only work about 2 hours a day. A deck that should have taken at the most two weeks to do is still not finished after 9 months. Even worse the workmanship is of such poor quality that it will cost several thousand to redo to make it even safe. Another part of his scam is that he asked for another $6000 to finish the job we had contracted . The deck is only about half finished and he has collected about 80 percent of the agreed upon monies. Worst experience in 20 years dealing with contractors, you do not want to hire this guy to do anything at all.

They tore down a short length of fence at no extra cost, moved some large rocks in my yard that I wanted moved, and hauled away the debris. At one point, the leadman asked me to "come outside." When a tradesperson doing a job asks you to "come outside," it is never a good thing. In this case, though, the issue was seven baby rabbits the crew found in a bush being displaced. They were put in a bucket for safe keeping and when the job was finished, they put the bunnies in a day-lily bush. Their concern impressed me as much as the good looking fence and the other aspects mentioned earlier. I recommend them for any job. I know that I will choose them again if the need arises.

They were courteous, respectful of my home (drop cloths everywhere they walked, rolled up daily when they left), and punctual. I've never seen a harder working crew...no messing around like I've encountered with other jobs. The work was finished within a week, clean up was spotless. You don't have to worry about multiple jobs either...which is a huge plus. Once they start your job, they're there until complete. Compared to several other bids, price was a bit lower too. Gorgeous windows and so clean. I did have one single pane out of the bunch get moisture in it and within one call they had a new window ordered no questions asked.
