Doctors are not God, they don't know everything....they are practicing medicine......If you think for your self and question things, you're dropped. Shameful! I was dropped with no notice (the professional thing to do is send the patient a letter to let them know why the office doesn't want to see them and recommend another doctor). When I called in this past spring to set an appointment and to my surprise I was told I can't come in. I had never missed an appointment, been late or missed a payment in years. I was given NO notice of any kind! Why would I set an appointment if I had been dropped? I was shocked and did not know why. Their answer was pathetic. Bottom line is if you dare think of your self and question things that goes against their totalitarian way, you're gone. Also, they're terrible about returning calls in a timely manner. I'm talking 2-3 messages were left over several days with no response. You just get bounced around too much but mostly not called back at all. Do not fill out the "how are we doing" surveys, they'll use those against you! There's plenty of other better doctors out there, do your research!

This is by no means an exaggeration as I have witnessed him not only care for myself but my entire family for years. He even made multiple house visits during the unfortunate time when my mother was fighting lung cancer and was too ill to travel, refusing to charge for them as well. The downside is that as of my writing this he is only in his office on Wednesdays as he still is a practicing ER doctor as well. He also tends to run behind on office days due to the limited appointments available as well as the fact that he spends a lot of time with each patient. It is my opinion that the level of care far outweighs any of the cons in working with him. Some people are just born to be and do certain things, "Dr. A" has found his true calling as a doctor. After moving back to Orlando, I am so happy to see he is practicing again and his office is near my new home. He is the primary doctor for my entire family. He offers solutions that are beyond medicinal and also offers holistic approaches for those who are interested in that path. He sits with you as long as he needs to in the room and listens to all of your concerns. He cares for your well-being and orders really detailed check-ups to truly see your condition and explore the core root of your problems instead of just masking them with medication. I am so happy to have landed again in this office and I am so happy he is our family doctor again. The only downside to his office are the wait times but I must say its worth it. It may get frustrating waiting beyond your appointment time but when you are inside and he is giving you that individual attention you are so thankful you waited. I always leave satisfied. The overall standard of care that I've received has always been pretty good. I've never really had a bad experience. My mother has also come to this facility (as I believe so has my brother). We've all really had good experiences here. I went in last week for a quick consult before a routine endoscopy that I'll be receiving later this month. The doctor was kind, patient, and explained everything thoroughly to me. She went over my expectations/tasks as a patient to prepare for the endoscopy. I felt seen and heard. I left the office very confident that I would be in trusted hands. As far as the facility itself goes, it is a bit more outdated in comparison to some newer facilities; however, for the most part, it has a decent amount of seating. It is usually ALWAYS packed / busy. So, parking can get a little full; however, there is on-street parking all around. The facility is as clean as one can expect of any facility, really. All in all, I definitely appreciate the care I've received here and will continue to go here for any of my GI needs.

I also needed to establish a physician for my lower back L4, L5 and S1 pain medications I am on for over 20 years. Nurse practitioner came, took list of my meds mail order. She ordered my meds. Upon receiving the meds I noticed, she didn't order one of my meds for 90 days BUT for 30 days with no refills. I called pharmacy. Pharmacy replied, doctor ordered for 30 days with no refill. I called doctor's office. The doctor says he will not write 90 days or 30 days refill until he checks my physical. The clinic is stuck up, making totally irrelevant excuses to write meds refill or for 90 days. In order to further establish state of my physical, doctor went ahead with my blood test. I also requested to check if I am allergic to any unknown allergy. Besides, The unqualified staff who don't know how to read blood pressure. The pressure was so high, the nurse practitioner refused to order my medication I am using for almost 20 years. Well anyway, I went back to get blood drawn for testing purpose making sure there is nothing wrong anymore apart from some unknown allergic reaction I had earlier. The 2nd nurse came in to draw my blood. She can't even find my vein. Huh.... She send 3rd nurse to draw the blood. She gets it without making "ANY EXTRA DIGGING" efforts. Two days after, doctor on duty on Sunday calls asking "IF I AM DOING OK?" I was surprised. I went curious asking why what you find? Doctor says, my "SUGAR IS SO LOW" he wanted to make sure I am ok. I said something is wrong with your test. My sugar isn't as low as might think. I am absolutely active, working, going to gym. He said, there should be something wrong in test. He asked if anything went wrong while they drawing the blood? I said, the nurse named Deborah could find my vein. So she went ahead ask 3rd nurse to draw the blood. That's all. He orders 2nd blood drawn. I went today for another blood draw. 4th nurse came to draw the blood. He instigated if I get bruises a lot. I said, yes depending on how much you dig in my body. He takes my blood, then leaves all near by me, goes out to check if I have follow up appointment for test result discussions. I requested again, to write refill plus 90 days supply for my pain medicines. The receptionist said, she will send in message forward. They will call. Nurse named Deborah called, started crying for the same. They will not order another refill or 90 days supply. I said, you are not making any sense. She Says, my blood pressure was too high. It seemed like the doctors office practicing unethical behavior to cash on new patience. Moreover I am above 60 so I am a target of their atrocious pattern of behavior. I restrict anyone visiting FMA Facility located in Winter Spring, Florida. These center is milking patience not helping or do not know how to treat their Patience. Beware! Do not go there.
