VUE Solar Cleaning did a great job cleaning my panels. Their process from start to finish exhibited great customer service. From the quick response on the bid, to efficient scheduling, and punctual service from the service technicians; all went well. The technicians were punctual at 7 am (as scheduled). They ran a reading on the inverter prior to the cleaning, and one after. They do this to show the increase in production as a result of the cleaning. The service was quick and thorough. They were done in 30 minutes. I am pleased with the service. I can now see the "lines" on my solar panels again. We have now asked for a bid on window cleaning as that is a service they provide as well. Both bids on the solar panel cleaning and window cleaning were reasonable. I have been a customer of VUE SOLAR for several years. VUE SOLAR does more than cleaning the panels. They check to make sure that they system is working and in the past, they notified me on two separate occasions that my system was not functioning, and they gave me instructions on who to call to correct the problems. Also, they visually inspect the roof gutters and let me know if they are becoming clogged. I appreciate this and it is not something they are obligated to do. In winter, they will come to your house and put up Christmas lights and I have had them do this for the last 4 years. This a good company with good service personnel and good customer relations. I had two prior solar panel cleaners who did the work part time. While they did a good job cleaning they were never on time and seldom showed up on the date and time promised. VUE was a refreshing surprise. They are not individuals doing it part time it is an established company with a receptionist to always answer the phone. She was friendly, polite, courteous and knowledgeable. The technicians showed up on time and were also polite , courteous and knowledgeable. They do not use purified water rather a detergent or soap in the water. They also give you a wattage reading from your inverter before and after the cleaning to show the cleanings effectiveness. I had my solar panels cleaned by another company in town earlier this year for almost twice the cost! My mom had been getting her solar panels cleaned with VUE because of a recommendation from the people she recently purchased her home from. She told me to give them a try and I gave them a call, got the lesser quote, and they were able to fit me in the next day which was unexpected! The panels were cleaned and system checked, and when I received my invoice they had added an additional discount that was being offered that particular month which was an extra nice surprise. Used to have these guys clean my panels but after realizing they don't use soft clean water, instead my hard water, to "clean" my panels, I will be taking my business elsewhere. No before and after photos either. Didn't see employees have any fall prevention equipment as well. read more
