Arrived @ 10.40 and was told there are only two doctors and would be a 90 minute wait. Did not have to stay, could return, and would be called if it would be sooner. Came back in 90 minutes and waited another 1/2 hour to be seen. I was seen by Dr. Baron. My blood pressure was up to 160/100, and, she was concerned, because it was high also at my last doctor visit. Diagnosis was sinusitis, but I only had two of the symptoms She prescribed Flonase and an antibiotic. She knew about my anxiety and high blood pressure issues. I asked her if Flonase had any side effects that would aggravate these problems, and was reassured it wouldn't. Sitting here today with terrible anxiety that my meds can barely control. Initially I was not going to get the Flonase script filled, but had such severe headaches and congestion I was desperate.I cannot tolerate otc decongestants. Did not know much about corticosteroids, but anxiety was NOT listed as a common side effect. Wasn't until this morning when I googled it and voila! I'm screwed. I know doctors can make mistakes, but she should have known this. Lesson here; doctors do not know everything. Sometimes you need to go with your gut reaction, you know your body best. You need to do your own research before you take any meds. The place itself was not bad. The front desk girl & other employees were pleasant and helpful. Should have more doctors during peak cold/ flu season. Dr Baron however should have known better.

They also asked me for my photo ID and I had just gotten a new one two and a 1/2 months before which cost $40.50 and I handed it to them but I was in so much pain and hardly slept in over a month that I didn't realize that they never gave it back to me. It wasn't until 5 days later when I took out all of my cards from another wallet that's too big for a new handbag I recently bought when I saw the card is missing. I looked a zillion times in my other wallet but it's not there. So I called them the next day but they were closed so I called the day after this and I asked them if they have my photo ID and if anyone there saw it and to please ask around there and I gave them my phone number and asked for them to please call me if they find it, if anyone saw it and a young woman I spoke with said she asked her co-worker and it's not there and she said I never gave it to them which is totally false and not only do I remember giving it to them but the nurse practitioner wouldn't have seen me if I hadn't! I had to order a new copy on Pendot's site and pay $40.50 I haven't been out to any other place since I was there either.

It was a Friday and getting to CHOP didn't feel like a necessity, so I took him to Everest because it was close to home. The staff were kinda. They immediately asked for proof of insurance to make sure they could help. My insurance was suitable (Aetna is my provider. They do not take UHC.) so they saw my son. The doctor was a woman who gave 2 options- go pick up a script and use it for a few days, then come back for a flush; or try a flush today. We opted to get his ears flushed. The doctor and assistant were careful and made sure to thoroughly clean his ear canal. They sent a script to a nearby pharmacy and I had no issues picking it up. Overall, this was a pleasant experience.

I say this to say, I needed a particular vaccination and had a very hard time receiving it. My primary care did carry it, and did not provide outside help to me at all. I went to Walgreens and my insurance denied the vaccination because it was from a pharmacy(at this point I'm furious) I proceeded to call the insurance and asked for an override(DENIED) Lastly I got on Dr. Google, and WALAH like magic I found City Life!!!! The staff was polite, the place was very clean, the wait was minimal, and the process was smooth. The dr. even informed me of an ear infection that I thought I may has.
