I'm escorting someone who can't walk all the way to the other side of the building to the opening of the ramp so we had to try and not kill our selves falling into the trash god for bid what is in the bags. I went to Vybe Kensington for a pulled muscle that was causing an excruciating headache. The care I received was good but the way they prescribe medication is very bad. It's now Saturday and I have no idea where my prescription medication is. Spoke with their prescription medication company yesterday who claimed that it was sent to my preferred pharmacy but it wasn't. I still don't have my medication and probably never will. read more

My experience with this place was dreadful. I went there to get the necessary vaccinations for school and was charged for several services. They told me to return for more treatments, which I trusted since it was for school. However, when I went back, the receptionist informed me that I only needed one service. I had already paid $175 out of pocket and was expecting to be charged $75 more. Upon discovering this, I declined the additional service, but they still tried to charge me the $75 and didn't even confirm my vaccinations for school. I was ready to accept the loss until they sent me another bill for recommended services, which they had never mentioned before. I feel exploited and misled. In total, they charged me $259.18 for services that should have cost less than $100. Thankfully, someone had warned me that I didn't need the extra services. read more

This review is about my experience at Vybe for COVID-19 testing. The process from the beginning to the end was pretty simple, but not as quick as other locations I know about. Firstly, signing up for a teledoc visit on the website was easy, and then finishing forms before starting the meeting was the next step. My video call was first picked up to complete my final triage information about 20 minutes after my appointment time, which I suppose would be the same if I went into an office, but it felt pretty slow since I had wasn't sure of when they were going to log on and answer me. Then after triage, another 3-5 minutes before a nurse practitioner answered, assessed my symptoms, and then recommended me for a test. This is where the visit at this Vybe locations begins. I walked in about 30 mins after my appt, after confirming with my doctor that I could show up to this location anytime before it closes. There was a line 5 people long, with spaced out waiting room chairs and extra waiting seats away from the main area. Still, without appointments, the line is wasn't quick. It also seems like COVID testing isn't a priority at this location, possibly from lack of staff. The COVID test was very quick, but the initial line and waiting in the general population line made it inefficient. Got results for the test in 2 days, quick turnaround! They also have a test available for immediate results, but it's 75$ (not covered by insurance.) read more

They offer many booking appointments online, but you will always wait at least 40 minutes. Either they get swamped with walk-in's every day, or there is only one technician. I recommend this place for quick little things such as a uti, or a stye in your eye (as I was seen for both via televisit and had no issues) However, I do not recommend for more serious issues such as cellulitis, i have several PTSD from Jefferson hospital and am terrified of hospitals I went here for an infection to get antibiotics and go about my merry way. But that wasn't the case at all, they refused to treat me and demanded I go to the hospital as it wasn't something they felt comfortable treating. I called first and asked if it was something they could handle they assured me on the phone it was, I also checked their website were it says cellulitis is one of the things they can treat. I would NOT recommend this place for that reason, but like I said if you have something simple that I mentioned above then definitely get a virtual visit (You might be waiting awhile though) read more

Made an appointment to get covid tested after being exposed at work from a positive co worker. I registered online with my Insurance and came in today to find out that they don't take my insurance. Now I'm left to find somewhere to get tested even after I tried to call yesterday and was told by a machine to refer to the website. Went with infection. Prescribed antibiotics. Told start them Immediately. Prescription not called in. Called Vybe. Said it was pharmacy error. Called Vybe again. Did they call wrong pharmacy? No. Confirmed they had correct pharmacy. Two hours later they say they will talk to doctor when he has time. Four and a half hours later doctor calls. He had the wrong pharmacy. Two hours go by. Still not called. No one answers phone at Vybe. You are out on hold for about ten or fifteen minutes. They give you updates on where you are in line. When you are next they say they're too busy and to call back later. Nothing seems to urgent at this place. read more

Don't waste your time. I scheduled a COVID test. They require you to set up a video visit prior to allowing you to come in and have the Covid test done. They also require you sign off on several waivers before they will schedule your video visit. I waited 55 minutes (max wait time was supposed to be 20-30 minutes) for someone to get on the line for my scheduled video visit, only to find out they don't accept my insurance (interestingly enough my co-worker, with the same insurance, was able to get a COVID test done here). Why have all the those waivers filled out but not verify insurance prior to the video visit? Go anywhere else but here. They will waste every second of your time. read more

Front desk staff are rude and unhelpful. They were on my list of approved providers from my organizations workers comp provider. The workers comp provider had already opened my claim and provided me with a claim number and their address. Vybe staff insisted they would not be able to see me without also providing the adjusters name and phone number. Since the insurance company is closed till Monday (it's Friday evening), that would leave me with a wound and no treatment all weekend. When I expressed concern about my urgent medical need, they condescending offered to call me an ambulance to go to the ER. I will never go back here and will recommend that no one I know ever go to this facility. The security guard in the lobby also added to the general negative impression. read more

This place is a complete waste of time and money! My girlfriend had slipped on ice and we thought she had broken her foot. So we got in the "online line" and waited to go in until we were "next". When we got there we still had to fill out paper work (even though we had already filled out everything online) and then we proceeded to wait almost 2 HOURS to be called back into the examination room. Once we were in the examination room the nurse asked us a couple simple questions, "when, how did it happen, where does it hurt then took her Temperature (why? I have no idea, she wasn't sick) then told us the doctor will be with us shortly. We proceeded to wait another HOUR AND A HALF for the doctor to come in. When he was checking her foot he wasn't even looking at her foot all he did was squeeze it once and say "we'll get X-rays and I'll be back in". She went and got "x-rayed" and came back into the examination room. 20 minutes later the doctor comes back in and says "everything looks good, no fracture we'll get you in a boot and get you out of here". He handed us a CD that he said the X-rays were on and we left. When we got home neither my girlfriend or I felt she received a good examination or opinion and felt cheated out of a day and money. So we decided to go to another doctor. We brought the X-ray disc we had gotten from VYBE only for the new doctor to tell us IT WAS BLANK!!! Who knows if they even took actual x-rays at VYBE!! And to boot the second doctor we went to told her that she had a sprained tendon! Needless to say we felt completely swindled and cheated from VYBE that we will NEVER go there again and we will tell anyone thinking of going there this story. What an absolute QUACK of a doctor. I really am Not a fan of this place, But Dr. Torrance really makes this review. I had a not so great experience here around the same time last year, where they were incredibly rude and didn't acknowledge any of my symptoms. this time, around a week ago, I came in with no voice and a pain in my chest. The receptionist was friendly and understanding and quick to help. Dr Torrance was very welcoming and caring. He was thorough in explaining the why and how and went the extra step to make sure I got all medical assistance expected. I was given medication this time (amoxicillin which was very much needed) but he encouraged herbal remedies to try first hand, which i preferred personally. Staff was nice and the wait wasn't too terrible. However, when I was being triaged, the door to the rest of the clinic was left open. I was being asked confidential medical information with the door wide open, which made me uncomfortable. I could hear another patient discussing her medical needs and history with the PA on staff, which makes me assume she could hear mine. There were other patients being seen in the clinic as well. This is not okay and made me very uncomfortable. If they are this open about violating their patient's right to privacy in front of them, I really am scared to think they may do with my private information when I am not there. For this reason, I would not recommend this clinic and I tried to leave as quickly as possible. read more

I went in because I was having a bad headache (which I later found out was a nerve tension headache) I have health insurance through my employer and I was told there would be no charge as it was covered under my insurance. I received an email today stating there is a 150.00 charge for my visit keep in mind I was told to get extra strength tylenol from the store which was over the counter. That's really all that happened I'm getting charged a ridiculous amount of money for being told to get aspirin after I was told there was no charge. If I was told from the beginning that it wouldnt be accepted I would've went to the er where I know my insurance would not have been an issue. These people do not know what they are doing. They only know their bottom line and that is to screw people out of money. That's the only amount of money they will ever see from me. Stay away from here and find actual professional care. The wait time was a little long considering there was only one person ahead of me at 8:15 a.m. and I was seen around 9:00 but the staff were pleasant and helpful and the doctor was efficient and gave me clear and concise information. Mostly, the staff was so pleasant! They helped the gentleman who wasn't "computer savvy," and made sure I understood that my prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy via the internet and what the treatment plan was. He told me it was sprained I asked if I should get an x-ray to confirm that he told me no. The next day my foot was worse. I went to a specialist and got x-rays turns out my foot was fractured. Upon arrival the waiting room was spotless, face masks for those who have a cough, hand sanitizer and tissues available on every table, plenty of seating and the women at the front desk were helpful and friendly. After filling out my registration I waited no longer than 15 mins. A wonderland woman took all my information and vitals for the doctor then shortly after my doctor came in. I came here for a pre-employment physical. First visit was OK, they weren't very busy but I still waited a half hour. They have a glass panel between patients and the receptionist, and a TV blaring in the waiting room. Not only is it difficult to communicate and they are not very friendly, it's also a bit of a HIPPA violation to have to yell why you are there to the receptionist. They had a sign up (I'm guessing from lunch time, but it was 2:30 in the afternoon) that they would be back in a moment and to please sign in. They had two clipboards, one was a blank excel printout, no header to identify what it was for, and another labeled Patient Sign in. I signed in on that clipboard, when a medical assistant who was behind the desk yelled at me "what are you here for" (again, not exactly a private medical conversation). The MA then yelled at me that "that's not where you sign in! Cross your name off that and sign in on this (pointing at the unlabeled clipboard). I sat down to wait, and the next patient who came in was confused as to which clipboard to use, reading the same sign, and trying to sign in where I did, and he was yelled at by the same MA. This time the MA yelled condescendingly, "read the sign!". As a patient I then had to intervene and assist the other patient what each clip board was for. A few minutes later the MA came out from behind the desk and ripped the sign down. This place makes me fear to ever receive actual care from here. Don't come here, ever. The place is awkward and some of the staff are rude. read more

I went to this facility due to an insect bite on my leg the day before. I explained to the Dr. that it wasnt a typical mosquito bite. It didn't itch and it hurt immediately after I was bitten. I felt sick, flu like syptoms and the pain was almost unbearable.He looked at the bite , tild me to put antibiotic ointment on it and warm compresses. I asked for antibiotics bc I knew this was something more and it was definitely infected and I didnt want to have to come back. He said even if it was he wouldnt prescribe antibiotics. I went home and it continually got worse through the day. I had a fever, was throwing up , couldnt walk and had a thumping headache. The pain was so excruciating. I was taken to the hospital the next day and was told it was cellulitis. I was there for over 8 hrs where they had to give me 2 different kinds of antibiotics and a saline drip bc I was dehydrated, pain meds and nausea meds so I would not throw up. Which at this point was just dry heaving bc I wasnt able to eat for 2 days. Its now been 5 days since I was bitten and I still can barely walk. My pain level is beyond a 10 and I still have symptoms of a mild flu. If the Dr. Had given me the antibiotics immediately when I went to Vybe I would have been fine but due to his diagnoses ( which he said , it was just a mosquito bite) I am still suffering and have missed work for 4 days. I wouldnt take my gold fish to this place. Next time ill go to the gas station next store and ask the cashier for a medical opinion. Obviously these places hire anyone to play Doctor. A real doctor would know the symptoms of an infected bug bite and know how to treat it. What a joke this place is. read more
