I would not recommend this Vybe location to anyone , especially if you're in an urgent need. I made an appointment for a PCR nasal swab for 2:45pm today. Prior to the appointment I already pre registered. I arrived at 2:40 pm and left at 4:44pm. In comparison, my partner went to the location in center city near Jefferson and the entire process was completed within 20 minutes. I was finally called back at 4:03pm which is absolutely unacceptable for someone with a scheduled appointment , not a walk-in. Regina from the front desk ended up doing my nasal swab which took all of a couple of seconds (which is why I cannot fathom why I endured 2 hours at this clinic). I was then told a doctor would come in to see me for a few minutes. (My partner said the PA/MD basically comes in for 10 seconds and asks you a few questions based on his Vybe experience in center city. I waited for 15 minutes and no one came. I then became impatient and kept my door open because I was pretty sure no one knew I was waiting. I was right. Regina happened to see my pacing around the back hallway and asked why I was still waiting , and here I am like " YUP I have the same question." Regina goes back to inform the team and I can overhear them, no one knew I was waiting. There is some serious mismanagement and communication issues at this location and unless you want to waste 2 hours+ of your life I'd highly recommend you do not come here based on my experience. I did speak to Dr. Good about my concerns and she acknowledged them and said that she's also disturbed by the feedback from today - but my faith in them is gone. There is no way I would ever come back here unless forced. On top of this I tried to call them a few hours prior to the appointment to ask a question, and no one answered and their mailbox was full. I even asked Dr. Good how the results were reported, and she stated the staff would call me with the results. She saw my hesitation in believing that their staff would actually call me with the results in a timely manner, since this is a time sensitive test for my purpose. She apologized and said she understood why I don't trust them to call me with the results due to the poor customer service I experienced from start to finish. After I posted this review above on their Google Reviews, some sort of manager (I think a district manager) ended up calling me on my cell phone to discuss the issue. We reviewed my experience in detail and he said he will have a productive education session with this location and conduct a site visit the next day. I appreciate the quick feedback and hope that this helps future patients have a much different experience than I had. read more

Vybe Urgent Care is a modern facility that serves the needs of folks that either can't get in to their primary care doc or just has a need for some a quick medical issue. The staff is friendly and seems like they care. My experience was quick and positive. The only thing that is concerning is that 45 minutes after I left the facility, I received a message from my bank about a fraudulent charge on the same credit card I used at Vybe. Coincidence? However when I got tested on Wednesday, I met a wonderful doctor who understood my difficult situation immediately and answered my message very fast. Horrible, I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this horrible place. The receptionist ignored me despite telling her I was about to pass out after my foot got run over in the Andorra Shopping center. I was having symptoms of shock and my vision was blurry so I couldnt even read the form to fill it out. I told her that same thing and she acted like I interrupted her manicure unnecessarily. I told her I had screenshots of my cards and could she help me. She was exceedingly nasty and when the Dr. came out I told him I was about to pass out he said they don't give freebies. It was a great experience from the online scheduling/registration, the pleasant, courteous and attentive front desk staff and clinical assistant, and, finally, the assessment, diagnosis and plan of care from the physician. I completed my intake form on an iPad which I thought was effective and modern than the usual (yet still useful) clipboard and paper. The doctor was very kind and listened well. He took his time and made sure I was given what I needed to feel better. I really appreciated this. My prescription was put in at the pharmacy and once I got there I was able to pick it up quickly. This place is kind of a mess. I went in because I was having stomach pains over the weekend. The seats in the waiting area were not six feet apart, the staff was wearing masks that were insufficient, and they allowed people testing for COVID to be in the same area as other patients. It was as if the virus wasn't real to them. I ended up leaving because I didn't feel I should pay for this poor level of service. I was also nervous to be serviced there. This place is bad. They are good for shots, maybe a Rx for some anti-biotics, but that is about it. It is staffed by current and former ER docs who are desensitized and could give a crap about common injuries. The first HCP was okay - he seemed to care and wanted to prevent infection. A week later I went back (per the advice of my PCP) for a 2nd opinion and the over-worked, weary HCP had no time for me. He literally said "...I might decide to do that, depending upon what mood I am in". Seriously? Who says that to a patient worried about a deep splinter stuck in their hand for weeks. So I am going to see a real PA/doctor at Rothman. The US healthcare community is a cluster. You need to be your own advocate! I understand HCP's are people, but you are at work, be professional. I have no idea what the point of this urgent care is if all they do is tell you to take tylenol and ibprofen! I went there twice with a sinus infection over a 3 week span and both times it was "take pseudoephedrine and ibprofen", despite the fact that I said I get 3-4 sinus infections a year. I finally said f*** this place and made an appointment at my pcp and it took a 14 day antibiotic course to clear it up. My wife just went there after being sick for over 2 weeks and her throat is getting worse and they didn't even test for strep. They said take ibprofen!!! What a f****** joke. I will give this place one star. I have been diagnosed Flu. my head was hurting me, my baby was aching, I had a fever but I took Tylenol before and fever didn't show during the exam. Ok first I filled up the paper work , took me more than 20 mins, anyway I spent there for 3 hours before doctor came and told me that I am positive for Flu. Ok then give me some medicine, that is why we go to Emergency Clinic to get better soon and go back to life. I had ear pain , horrible pain, ok , flu got me bad this time, I asked doctor to give me some prescription medicine because I know that over-the-counter medication not gonna help me this time. I am the patient and I was telling her how my body was feeling that time. Doctor gave me some kinda cough medicine which didn't help me at all. I asked her to give me smth for my ear , it was in pain so bad , she gave me spray for allergies symptoms. Are you kidding me? Doctor told me have honey with hot tea. I was there 5 days ago still feeling bad. Honestly why they even open emergency clinic if they do nothing for you. Most importantly for them money and our insurance that they can bill later. Went to UC in Roxborough, was seen by Dr. Randall Hirsch. I had symptoms of a UTI. They did a urinalysis and treated me with 5 days of an antibiotic. After 10 days of NOT getting results of the Urine Culture, which would be the STANDARD OF CARE, I FINALLY got someone to answer the phone there (after calling for a week nearly every day and leaving messages, and sending "messages" through the portal) and learned -- they never sent out a culture to determine if it actually was a UTI. This is basic and the fact they did not do it, AND treated me for an infection - is sub-par practice and I will NEVER return to this provider again. I am a nurse - and am beyond disbelief. Heaven help anyone who goes there with something potentially more serious. read more

Can't tell you anything about the treatment since I wasn't seen because I refused to leave my credit card information on file. I've been to different urgent cares before and I know they always have problems billing my secondary insurance. So I prefer them to send me a bill and then call them and tell them to bill the secondary (which is rediculous- why do I have to tell them that?!?). And then the bill goes away. So this time i told them - I'm not going to leave my card since there is always seems to be an issue with the bill. It was my first trip here (thankfully) and if it wasn't for them I'm not too sure what I would have done! Everyone was extremely helpful, kind, and answered any questions I had. I was in and out within an hour and they had my prescriptions ready at CVS in no time. However, I did have to call back because they forgot to call in one of my prescriptions, so I called Vybe again and they called it in for me with no problem. When I called the doctor was asking in the background if I was feeling better yet, which just shows how concerned they are for their patients. Can't say enough great things about this facility-I unfortunately had to go in twice within a 10 day period for a lingering sinus infection with some upper respiratory symptoms. Both times the front staff were super friendly and got me checked in and seen within a short period of time. The office overall is very clean and well kept-seems fairly new? Both times it was not crowded at all. Both doctors I have seen there have been awesome! They were thorough in their exam and explanations, they took time to ask extra questions and really make sure they understood how I was feeling and the symptoms I was having. They discussed WITH me the treatment and antibiotic options, side affects etc-rather than talking at me and rattling off a bunch of medical jargon-which I really appreciate. They electronically sent my prescriptions during my visit and they were ready to be picked up by the time I drove to the pharmacy. The Medical Assistant or Tech I had doing my Triage/vitals today before I saw the Dr (I believe he's actually an EMT) was probably the best I've encountered at any medical facility. So much so that I remembered his name, Howard. He was not only knowledgeable and seemed to be great at what he does-but he was absolutely hilarious and a total people person. I came in feeling really crappy, expecting to get someone kind of dry to do my vitals as that's typically what happens, and he totally surprised me and made me laugh and smile and feel a little bit better despite my awful symptoms. I never write reviews, I actually created a Yelp just for this as I feel like this facility and their staff deserve a full 5 stars. This place was amazing years ago, but the quality of care has tanked since COVID started. Two years ago, I saw one of the providers named Curt and he was so rude, unprofessional, and berated me for seeking medical care. I read reviews of him online and apparently this is just who he is because the reviews shared this common theme. I thought maybe it was just him, but I was in recently and overheard the nurses and PA speaking negatively about a patient while I was in the exam. They didn't share names, so it wasn't a violation, but it was disheartening to hear them making fun of someone seeking care. I was disappointed, but not surprised. The PA came into the exam room and spent less than 3 minutes with me and didn't really provide insight on what was going on. Didn't give me an opportunity to ask questions, was in and out, and it wasn't even crowded. The general atmosphere of this place is fine; staff was polite and the doctor was helpful. The issue is that they make you keep a card on file. I have no copay or deductible for my visit and three months later was sent a charge. I called and was told it was submitted incorrectly and it would be taken care of. Three days later 180$ was taken from my account. I have called six times, left three messages, and even went to the office. Only a manager can handle this issue and she seems to never be around, available, and is most definitely not returning my calls. It's been two weeks and I am no closer to getting my money back. Not terrible service, but I'd go somewhere else next time. The first time I visited, I had torn my ACL (undiagnosed), and they gave me a knee brace to wear until I could get an MRI done. The doctor didn't know how to put the brace on and sat there reading the instructions with me. Not the worst situation, but doesn't instill confidence either. The second time I went to Vybe was before having ACL surgery to get a pre-surgery form completed. I called ahead to confirm they were able to do it, but once I arrived, the doctor on shift refused to. Not only that, but he had me walk back to his office with my bum knee, which was the farthest point from the waiting room, just to tell me exactly what the nurse told me in an attempt to save face, literally telling me to come back if I "have a UTI or something." He tried to tell me that no urgent care would complete this form for me. I then went to Premier urgent care, was in and out in 30min. with no issues whatsoever.
