You can grab an appointment from their website and load up ID, insurance card and other info. Bonus they had almost an immediate appointment available. The location is in the Central West neighborhood. I was surprised how nice the waiting room was. The front desk staff was professional. The wait was short and called back. The PA from Penn Med provided an excellent exam. I was on my way in 25 minutes. That's unheard of, but likely some luck in timing. Absolutely recommend Vybe Urgent Care. read more

The "doctor" who said her name was Rada is a waste of time. She needs to get another job, being a doctor is not it. Bare minimum effort and doesn't know what she's talking about. I wouldn't trust this person with my health, and time. This was on a Saturday. read more

The only downside was that I waited for at least 45min before being taken back, despite having made an appointment. Unfortunately that's quite standard for urgent cares. That being said, the PA was very friendly and a great listener. He ordered all the tests I needed, and while I was there he even offered to flush out my ear which had a buildup that had been bothering me. They don't offer rapid covid tests (which you can buy at the store anyway) but I was pleased to see they offered PCRs which are more accurate and the results came back the next day! read more

This place is a quackery. Every time I've gone there over the past 5 years they have sent my medication to the wrong pharmacy. Most recently they sent it to a location that was permanently closed and assured me it would arrive there. They do not spend more than 10 second listening to or evaluating patients and I have been misdiagnosed multiple times. Most recently they did not catch my strep on the first evualtion becuase they took a bad sample by not taking time to do it right. Rush in, rush out, healthcare run like corporate America. I was called later and told the lab confirmed it is strep and they again sent my medication to the wrong pharmacy location and I had to have them tranfer it which they did wrong and the pharmacy gave me an issue since it was sent to two locations. I plan to never go back to Vybe and find new places to recieve medical care. read more

This is the WORST care I've ever received. these people are SO rude here. The one assistant was pushing the thermometer in my mouth and getting upset that it wouldn't read so she kept shoving it in my mouth harder and harder. Then, she told me I'd have to pay another $30 for a step test or else I wouldn't get any medicine (on top of the $125 I already paid) my throat was so swollen I could barely open my mouth. She told me I have to open wider and took her index finger and poked my forehead back. I lost it at that point and told her to have a little compassion. I am very sick and you're just shoving things down my throat like I'm not even a human. She was still condescending after her fake apology. I will NEVER go back to this dump. Used to love this place. Today I got on the wait list at 4:15. It said I would be taken back around 5:30. Got here around 5:10 to allow for some time before my appt to check in and such. 6:10 came along and I was still in the waiting room and have not even been returned my ID from checking in yet. I ask about my ID and she found it in her pocket. 5 min later, I get called back. Came in to get a TB test. The medical assistant took about 20 min to draw my blood, which is odd because I have no issue giving blood. She also remarked "I hate doing this, this is hard," while drawing my blood! Several days later I'm notified that the lab didn't pick up my sample, so I have to go back to get my blood drawn again. I went to this location to get rapid antigen tests. Nurses were kind and professional. However, considering the cost (75$) and the nature of the assay (20min from collection to end), I was expecting a much faster turnaround. It took about 5 hours to get the results. Also, there is no way to contact the location by phone. The only options are to leave a voice message or visit the location in person. when a service makes a point of offering rapid testing there should be a system in place to allow rapid communication. Otherwise, it is not very helpful. read more

I've been to 3 Vybe's for covid tests so far: 1420 chestnut, south broad st and Bensalem. All of which I've experienced extremely professional and fast service, and above all very friendly nice people. I don't know that I'd be in such good spirits swabbing noses of potential infected people all day. Their great VIBE ;) made the whole testing process soo much easier. This is the worst urgent care facility I have ever been to. I'm a registered nurse and came here with severe wheezing, coughing up green mucous, and a swollen sore throat and gums. The doctor refused to acknowledge my symptoms and basically told me that I was lying about how sick I was. His name was Dr. Hirsch. He was arrogant and rude and had me walk out of there in tears. They wouldn't give me my money back and now I am on my way to a second urgent care after spending two hours at this one. read more

STAY AWAY FROM VYBE URGENT CARE. These scam artists say they accept insurance, but they don't. My visit is fully covered under my plan. VYBE Urgent Care filed the claim wrong. My insurance company has reached out multiple times BUT they do not answer their phone, answer emails or respond to letters sent via the USPS . They have their contact system set up so that is impossible to work things out. Expect your credit card to take a BIG HIT no matter what insurance you have. Why? Because they can charge you a lot more than they can get from your insurance company. This place is dangerous. If you value your money and your credit raising, Please go somewhere else. I definitely had a positive experience coming to Vybe urgent care. Normally, I try my best to take OTC medications if I really have to and try to avoid seeing doctors, however I went to my primary doctor and another facility due to an unbearable, sharp stomach pain and there was no available opening that same day. I stopped by Vybe as a new patient and the process did not take long at all. The waiting area is super clean and the interior is nice. The staff were really friendly and I was literally in there for about 45 minutes vs 2-3 hours wait at my primary doctor's office. I was prescribed me antibiotics and couple days later I felt so much better. read more

We got a PCR Covid test here last week for a trip to Canada. It was easy to make the appt on line, and when our 2 appts were 3 hours apart, they assured us that we both could show up at the earlier time and get our tests done. They were professional, friendly, and on-time. We got our results within an hour, and they were happy to provide us with hard copies. Now that the Covid testing requirement to enter Canada is ending, they're going to start providing urgent care services again, which I'm sure will be welcome. read more

DO NOT visit this medical clinic unless you appreciate being overcharged! While traveling from Hawaii to the Philadelphia area in March, I needed the stupidest thing attended to - got a cotton tip from a qtip stuck in my ear! Knowing that no foreign object is good for you and having a 14 hr flight home, I decided to go here and have it removed, that was May 5. Staff was pleasant, office was clean and the procedure took all of 5 min. which I gladly paid $125 for that day. Days later, May 14, I get an email that they are going to charge me $75 per month for "ongoing care" unless I contact a phone # to their office. Guess what - after multiple phone calls to this #, no answer. I leave messages, no reply. Here it is 3 months later and I'm still going back and forth with my credit card company to dispute these monthly charges of $75. Just dont go here - complete fraud. And shame on the Drs and staff that work here and knowingly know that this will happen to every patient. read more

I went to Vybe's urgent care center at 1420 Chestnut. The team was professional and friendly. I went on a Friday afternoon and was surprised I could get seen within about 30 minutes. The doctor was very nice, listened to my concerns and took the time to assess my symptoms and come up with a treatment plan. I was appreciative that she did not suggest antibiotics as my symptoms didn't justify that treatment. I would definitely recommend Vybe and will be back when I need to be seen for ailments that make sense for urgent care. read more

I am so disgusted about this office. I have been dealing with swollen lips since this past Sunday and I went to the urgent care facility because I was in complete discomfort. I followed up yesterday and the lady at the front desk said it give it 48 hours and it has been that. I called this morning asking if they could waive the $125 fee for me not having insurance because it's obviously the prednisone is not working and they did no, flat out. Obviously these doctors don't know what they are doing and have no interest in helping me, even though they messed up and have not provided the right medicine. This office is a joke. read more

I cut my hand and needed stitches. I had never been to an urgent care clinic before and didn't know what to expect. Turns out everyone from the front desk to the doctors were very nice and helpful. The doctor took my cut very seriously and made me feel better. A few weeks later it turned out that my insurance wouldn't pay for my service. I didn't know this at first and was kind of frustrated when I called Vybe to sort it out. The woman I spoke with was so understanding and really seemed to care about my situation. I came in for the first time a few days ago because I just moved here and have no primary care doctor in the area and was feeling very ill. I was greeted so kindly and was given straight forward information to check in. I was seen soon after checking in and received my tests, diagnosis and prescription within 30 minutes (all of it being correct and accurate). I would recommend this to place to anyone, they are kind, efficient and work well as a team. (although I have health insurance so my process is undoubtedly easier everywhere I go and my copays are relatively inexpensive) read more

I agree that the facility is nice and the check-in and payment processes are quick and efficient. Those, plus a Keurig, do not make up for subpar medical care. I showed up, checked in quickly, and saw Dr. Yue or Yen or something similar-sounding. She spent less than 5 minutes in the room and gave an inconclusive diagnosis based on guesswork; cut me off when i tried to ask questions and provide additional information. Now i'm out $75, on a mailing and texting list, and gained no new insight on how i should treat my medical condition. read more

I would highly recommend against coming here. I filled my form online to be seen for an earache a half hour in advance. I got in, handed my insurance and ID immediately to the secretary. She prompted me to fill out the normal forms as I did. I complete the process, wait probably an additional 15 minutes. She then calls me to tell me that they do not accept my insurance and the visit would cost me 125$. Mind you I had an earache, which in no way warrants that type of payment.. if it was an emergency I would pay or honestly just go to the hospital. What is frustrating that she saw my insurance card immediately; had me wait and fill out the forms only to point to a list right next to the desk to say it's not accepted. Why not say that upon my arrival? Poor training on their end, I wasted probably an hour and I would not recommend. Go to Jefferson urgent care if you want quick professional and comfortable service. Called in advance to see if there was a wait time. She said the is no wait time and we try to get people in and out in under a hour. I went there and signed in. 1 person in front of me. They we called back after 5 minutes or so. Then two to three people came and were called before me. After about 45 minutes and got up to ask what the deal was. At that moment I was called back. They took my vitals and sent me to my room. Finally after about 1 hr and 15 minutes the doc came in. She was super nice. She was the only reason why I did not give this place a 1 star. I have wasted my lunch break here and will probably not be back. read more
