I travel a lot for work and have stopped at countless Chase locations. I have never had a negative experience and I can say that my experience at this particular Chase was an overall positive experience. Parking was not an issue and the staff here were friendly and professional. The bank itself has a pleasant ambiance and only added to my overall experience. I will give this particular Chase location five stars and it definitely earned my recommendation. As I said, I am a long-time client of Chase and overall, I have never had an issue with this financial institution.

They can help you with investments at no charge. The CD rates aren't bad right now. The branch itself has never made a mistake in any of my transactions. I come here for printed checks since I don't buy checks anymore. It's $2 for one or for a whole page so you might as well get the whole page. There are 3 on a page. They called me to let me know that I had no beneficiaries on my account. I had no idea! So I went in to fix that. I didn't have an appointment but they took care of me within minutes. I was impressed. Otherwise, the chase app has a way to deposit checks and transfer money, so I don't have to go to the branch often. But they're here and they're friendly if I ever do need something.

Unfortunately, I was missing one of the documents they wanted. Even if you have all the documents with you the process can take 30 min to 2 1/2 hours before you hear back regarding whether or not they will provide you a medallion stamp guarantee. The process goes to a department outside the branch. In comparison I went to my other bank which happens to be a credit union and got a medallion stamp within 15 min.

My mother already suffers from dementia and has not been able to manage financial affairs for quite some time. As their POA, I scheduled an appointment with Truist and registered my POA for both parents at this branch. Fast forward to now, my father has passed away. I've been managing their finances through multiple Truist branches. As my mother has now received her insurance settlements, I was interested in opening an investment account to try to get her some supplementary income that she desperately needs. I booked an appointment with the customer service team and visited the local branch on-time. When I walked into the branch, there were a number of people sitting in the waiting area and also a line at the teller. A woman called out to me and asked if she could help me and I told her that yes, I had a 12:30 appointment. She asked me who it was with and I told her I didn't have a specific name. Then she said that they couldn't honor appointments booked online (it wasn't) and that I'd have to wait in line behind all the other people at the branch. She turned her back and walked into an office without another word. I'm a professional at a large company that dwarfs Truist. My time is limited during business hours. I made an appointment for a reason. This bank is only open 'bankers hours'. So, not being sure of what the correct venue is to make an appointment, I waited to speak to a teller. Long story short, the teller was equally argumentative about what an appointment is and refused to assist. I told her I wanted to close the account and then she told me that I didn't have power of attorney because my Dad had passed. This is absurd because I had registered that POA for both parents, I had the originals with me, and also the death certificate showing my mom as the beneficiary of the estate. They refused to even look at it. The other woman, returned to the window and essentially told me she couldn't help me because I'd need to make an appointment to present my POA for my mom. I told her I wasn't sure how to do that when this branch apparently doesn't honor appointments made through customer service. She offered no solution, so I left. Eventually I was able to get an appointment with a promise to honor it, but I have very little confidence in the management of this branch. I don't bank with commercial banks for exactly this reason. Banks play a critical role in all of our lives and we need them to be responsive, regimented, concerned and professional. It is clear to me that the only people Truist works for are the shareholders. If you're perusing reviews and trying to decide on a commercial bank, I would strongly suggest that you look elsewhere or get a credit union.

First Citizens bank sucks, they run algorithms to take out your debits before they run the…read moredeposits. They also hold your deposits if they have a known debit or bill pay coming out, so they can overdraft your account. I used to praise this bank, but no more, they are crooks!!! And that's a fact! They had someone "hack" their system and it was down for 2 weeks and all of a sudden all these things started happening, where they never happened before.
