Since we were out of town for the week, our realtor took care of the actual details - giving them access to the property and giving them our payment. Our realtor is picky. Almost as finicky (anal???) as me. She called when they were through and absolutely raved about the job they did. We had also given her a tip to use at her discretion - we probably should have doubled it considering her glowing report. She was so happy that she moved up the photographer to that afternoon. Norma charged us $300 for a two bedroom, two bath home. A bargain. I have my own cleaning lady that I've had for years. However, if she ever quits, after I finish sobbing, I'll hire Norma's immediately.

We have used this company several times to clean out and clean up rental houses after the tenant moves out. They have been great at communication and never had an issue until today. This time the only thing we can find that they did was only vacuum. They didn't touch the clean out (see photos), nor did they communicate that the job might have been bigger than the service we bought (200 clean up). Then when I called to complain they were argumentative and said "we are not allowed to take out trash"????? They charged us 200.00... And ASKED FOR A TIP . They did refund our money but they lost a good customer. These pics were AFTER they said they were done and asked for a tip. Yes we understand that it was a big job, but if they were not going to do it, call us and tell us. Don't just vacuum and call it done.

Trust is key when you are dealing with something that you as the homeowner cannot possibly inspect yourself - you have to rely on the folks you've hired to do things like a roof because you can't always see what the completed work looks like. Unfortunately, I've lost trust in One Stop Roofing because on multiple occasions I've found issues after they assured me they had either (a) corrected them, or (b) had looked everything over to make sure there were no other issues. Just today I had to repair a damaged gutter guard that they kicked in while on my roof - leaving the gutter wide open during leaf season. Had I not been on my ladder replacing a camera battery, I would have never known. And it would have been obvious to them they did this - it was at the point where they would climb on my roof. Other issues are apparent in the pictures. I hope I can learn to trust in them again since they claim to offer a 10 year labor warranty, but today I'm at a loss for words. The feeling I came away with is they are only going to fix what they think you might catch.
