But I had the best BLT I have ever had, for $7. It had almost too much bacon. The lettuce was fresh and the tomato was delicious. My dad, who has been a truck driver for 57 years, loves the burgers. (During the pandemic many grocery chains lost their experienced produce teams and since then stores haven't yet found suitable employees that keep an eye on the freshness of their produce) My grocery outings required the basics for a barbecue. Produce eaten the same day, mixers for drinks, chips and other appetizer options. For these items the spend was wise and due to the time of day, uber convenient.
