I was next in line and the couple in front of me had a issue with the pricing on their produce. There was the cashier and two baggers standing there. The cashier attempted to say this is always the price but the women clearly disagreed with the sign she saw. The cashier turns to one of the baggers and said "you work in that department go check" and he replied " no I am not going to do it and walked off" What the heck? The other guy just laughed and finally the husband just said forget it. By the time I got up to register the baggers wasn't paying attention and gave my stuff to the couple who were still looking at their receipt. The other times I didn't have any problems.

I am not sure what was transpiring but the manager told him to clock out and Emerald I must say was very insubordinate, and it terrified me. emerald stated " I don't have to do Sh*T , I don't have to listen to you. At that point security should have escorted him OUT! If he can be like that to his direct line of management I can only imagine the way he treats customers. Treat this as a formal complaint to Kroger. Your management staff should not be treated like that nor should that have been directly on the sales floor. This was very very unfortunate. Came in to get our favorite J's international grill since the one in Richardson was closed. But they only had it during the week, and with us working during the week and staying almost 30min. Away it wasn't doable. I witnessed her wearing her gloves to write on the box, handle the food, touch cups to make drinks, walk to the other restaurant with the same gloves on and walk back, now while she didn't touch anything on the other side it's the principal.. The reason for the rating is because of the attitudes I didn't drive almost 30min. To feel like you don't want to work and be bothered today. My only suggestion now would be to consider lowering the minimum pickup order to 3 or 4 pounds. It's just my husband and me, so the current minimum is more than we can eat. I truly appreciate the customer service at Brookshire's. I was especially happy this time when the gentleman in the meat department took care of me and didn't turn me away. That meant a lot! I'll definitely continue shopping at Brookshire's. Thank you for listening to your customers and making improvements.
