I have to report a great experience, at the Neighborhood Walmart, on Bluegrove in Lancaster, Texas. I went grocery shopping around 7:30AM today. I checked out in assistant checking. Unfortunately for me, I got cash back, which was 100 dollars. I was so busy bagging and checking out I forget to get my cash at the end of the transaction. I got home and realized my error. I figured I was just out of 100 dollar, but I decided to take a chance and go back to the store. To my surprise and amazement all the staff I encountered were kind and understanding. They checked the cameras and saw a man behind me took my money and paid cash for his groceries, Then an angel appeared named, Gabriel, who told me he would refund my money. I was so happy and thankful. We are so quick to complain, but do not compliment. They are the WORST. They substitute your order even though you NOT to. THEY ARE RUDE AND LAZY ‍

I have given the neighborhood Walmart in Lancaster Texas several opportunities to prove that they care about their customers online orders. They have failed each time. This last one was the sorriest one. I called the online order number several times and it timed out. I called in to the store spoke with two people and was told someone was coming. From 5:41pm to 6:22pm no one ever came. I canceled my order and had to go into the store to shop. Which was not my intentions after a long day at work. Something needs to be done. read more

When I first moved in this neighborhood this was one of the cleanest and most will keep stores that I've ever seen of a Walmart or Walmart neighborhood store. But in recent months is become one of the nastiest stores that I have been in. Every time you go in the store there's always product in the middle aisle there's it's always dirty and there are never enough cashiers and there are never enough of the self checkout machines working. What I don't understand is why you have some self checkout machines that are for cash only and some for court only that make no sense . Furthermore when you go to the store the baskets are always in the parking lot and you have to go to management to tell him to bring in the baskets and it's just not on this Walmart is on the customers we have to do our part also read more

I will NEVER go to this store again. It's a joke. Rude, rude Customer service. The last 5 times I went, NO CASHIER IN SIGHT. Not 1 register open. Has gone ALL SELF CHECKOUT. I don't work there. I don't want to go in a big chain store, buy $300+ in product then have to check/bag myself out. Self checkout is crazy. It may be convenient if you're buying a handful of items, but, COME ON NOW...shrunk your products, raised your prices, and now you want the Customer to do YOUR JOB. This the worst managed store I. All of Dallas, there produce is always the worst, they haven't had decent onions since thanksgiving of last year, the produce is always old, they have 9 check outs but only use the automated checkouts which always get stuck and need assistance to clear the issue, I have lived in the area for a few years and never see management walking there store, the home office needs to do the neighborhood a favor and either get people serious about service or close the store, I won't be shopping there giving my hard earned money for the lazy people working that store, pathetic is what it is, go see for your self. read more

You stand in line longer here than you would at a Supercenter. They rarely have more than one register open. They find it more important to just stand at the front talking with each other about how much they hate their job - while the lines to self checkout extend down the aisles. Also, I find it fairly odd that they gave me such a hard time when I tried to exchange a pack of parents choice diapers for a bigger size, but when I went in there to return a tub of opened expired Enfamil formula, they didn't give me any trouble. This is the Walmart that should be closing, not the Wheatland location. Employees in parking lot smoking and cracking jokes while no buggies in store, no cashiers rotten onions for weeks. Came in to pick up some things, and saw a pretty lady! I looked at a couple of times when we crossed isles or whatever. Heard her kinda of get into it with another customer, but we left out the store at the same time, so I wanted to say hi, but she said "so is that what u do is stare"? I wanted to say no Bi+c# I'm trying to say hi! Iadies if your that broken you don't have to be rude! But the store is getting a lil better on getting people out of there a lil quicker! read more

i have been going here for some time and now it is awful i spent over an hour shopping and had a full cart and went to check out and no lanes with a checker. 2 check out yourself areas with one woman watching them. i asked if there was a check out lane and she shrugged her shoulders and said i am the only one. i told her she could put my groceries back then and left and i will not waste my time there again. i am blind in one eye and have never used the do it yourself machines. sad because this used to be a better store read more

Can you go into negative numbers? Stood for 10 minutes at the deli counter waiting for some one to help. No less than 5 employees walked by me and/ or looked me straight in the eye. Nothing. Not a word. Tried to get thru the aisles and shelves were being reworked. Was bumped in to, unable to get to the product I wanted... The of course it's self checkout. Was trying to save time... This is a great neighborhood store! They always have a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables and bread at very fair prices. The store is clean and the employees have always been exceptionally friendly and helpful. I highly recommend shopping at this store for grocery, pharmacy, and home supplies. read more

Visited it today on my ice break, (sleet), and was very impressed, it was clean, well stocked and affordable. There is also a gas station available and located in a good place. This is something that was truly needed on this side of Lancaster, for us who do not wish to go the one off of 35 and Beltline. read more

Just had the best customer experience that I've had in years. Was shopping and needing a large heavy bag and being down in my back, knew it was going to be an issue. STEVEN asked if I needed help and not only loaded it in my cart, helped at the check out line and loaded in my truck. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I usually have pretty good service and speedy check out, kind of hit or miss, but today was awesome and they also opened a second register quickly. It's usually a 4 star experience, sometimes a 3, but today was a 5, and Steven a 5++. read more

I always shop at Walmart, and I have shopped at other Walmart neighborhood stores, but I avoid this store. The smell walking in the door is disgusting. The produce department often has less than fresh items. I want to like this store as it is in my neighborhood, but I just don't enjoy shopping here. read more

I can't believe I had to give this store even one star! I have given this location several chances; however, I absolutely have given up and suggest you drive a bit further to a grocery store that cares about customer service. The last visit to this store, I passed by three employees in the back of the store just standing around talking, and two additional employees near the checkout lines just standing there talking and laughing. Unbelievably, with five employees standing around with seemingly lots of time on their hands, only the self-checkout lines were open, but the monitor in the lane I was in was turned off even though the light was on indicating the lane was open. I turned to look at the young self-checkout assistant who was standing behind her podium watching me try to turn the monitor on, but she immediately turned her head away. I was so surprised by her lack of customer service, I left the half-filled basket where it was and walked out of the store. I won't be back. What a ridiculous way to treat customers! read more
