Hector was the gentleman that gave me the quote and did the work. He was super nice, they did a full sprinkler system install in 1 day. He showed me how to use the app, adjust the heads, and they put down grass seed when done. Also they accidentally cracked one of my blue stones but they replaced it within a few days of the job. I should have caught this, but it's not the kind of thing I have to worry about and I want to work with a company that I can trust to make a sensible suggestion. When they activated the my sprinklers earlier this season, they told me that I needed a new filter--when the service person realized he didn't have the part in the truck, he told me that I actually don't need the filter replaced. So did I not need it, or were you just trying to uncharge me? Or do I actually need it, and you never took the time to come back and fix it?

I told them about the issues and they refused to fix it. Don't waste your money with these guys they have a very bad attitude.

Once a year they provide a free seeding which is one of the reasons we continue to use them. We really feel this keeps our lawn looking optimal year after year. We had the aeration done once which really helped that first seeding to establish. A testiment to the quality at Green-Up is that when we bought our home, the previous owners did not maintain the lawn. There was mostly mud in our back yard, not much grass. John and his crew did so much work to our lawn that first year and within several months we had nice thick grass, no weeds, and the yard became usable. Over the last couple of years each year the lawn has become even more beautiful. Right now it's PERFECT and we could not be happier. Also, the price cannot be beat. I get a lot of calls selling the same service and I always humor the company and let them quote me a price per treatment. Since I have them, they only show up to turn the sprinklers on and off. I've had "only" them and my lawn has constantly died due to poor sprinkler types and lack of water getting to certain areas. Sprinkler care and lawn treatment seem to be horrible in Bergen County. You have to receiving a communication from this company is nice to know that they monitor these posts however when you turn a sprinkler system on it is customary to check the sprinklers for proper condition and if if they are doing the proper job not just turn it on and walk away from it. I would not have lost my lawn this year if my sprinkler company had my best interest at heart and checked each sprinkler head and the placement and the coverage they were supplying not just turn the sprinkler on. This past time when I requested that they come out they had to replace several heads and adjust locations that the sprinklers were supplying water to. That tells me that when they came out a few months ago they did just what the woman said was turn the system on and walk away and didn't check anything and for over $100 that's not good service I would hope that they change the way they service my property. It seems that they are very comfortable with a DISGRACEFUL three star rating rather than trying to earn more stars and be more considerate of the customer. Now I look and the three replaced heads are refurbished and not new new heads that I paid over three hundred dollars for. These pictures represent the failure of what I paid for and did not get. My neighbor has "no" sprinklers and his lawn is near perfect. Unfortunately the company is run from the office and no one monitors the worker's performance. The Proof Is in the finished product!
