When I walked in, there were 2 sales ladies extremely busy among and only among themselves so that they didn't even recognize me or my two daughters. There was nobody else in the store and the store is tiny. Even after awhile of looking around, they didn't even bother to say "hello may I help you". They didn't say a word. SNOB ALERT. I think the snob alert equated with the inflated price of the items they had in the store. They had a reclaimed wood dining table on sale for 2800.00, which I could have gone to Arhaus for a lot less even when not on sale. I just recently got an email flyer from Arhaus and theirs was around 1000.00 on sale(regular price was around 1500.00). They had some other single chairs that mimicked 70's velvet style fabric and was on sale for around 480.00. I later looked online at one of my favorite online stores and it was around 150.00. Needless to say, I will not be going back to purchase anything. If I did go back, it would probably be just to see how the products looked in real life that I saw online. However, having said that, if you like paying way over a product's value just so you could say you bought it at this store, then you should. Otherwise, shop around online or any other reputable stores and save your money for your children's education or anything else, and do not support inflated snobbery.

However, I found the new owner arrogant and not helpful at all. She would not allow fabric samples to be checked out for more than 24 hours, even if you were willing to place a sizable deposit. Nor if you were spending a large amount with her small business. I was really disappointed, and chose never to return to her shop. Her attitude was really bad.

We engaged 3 contractors to receive a bid. Sembro's took the longest to receive but for good reason. Theirs was the only one that included 3D designs. It was also helpful that they had a show room to see products in person. Paul was great to work with. Construction started and ended relatively on time. Near the end of the project we nitpicked several items we wanted addressed before officially closing the project which they took action on fast. Absolutely no problems in getting them to come over and address any issues or concerns. Very happy with all the work that was completed and would not hesitate to hire again. Only gripe I would have is how they handled the referrals we passed along to them. One project they closed on and completed a kitchen remodel. We never received a "thanks" or acknowledgment of the added business we provided them. We also passed them onto another friend to provide a quote and they ended up being ghosted. Really odd.

This is a review of their business practices not necessarily their work. My first conversation was the office manager (who was polite and professional) asking an extraordinary amount of questions prior to a visit including measurements which I felt that was the job of the person coming out to provide an estimate. I was given a quote of 40-60K for a small Lakewood bathroom (note this was before anyone actually saw my bathroom.. why is this done?). Then I was scheduled out several weeks in advance. The day of my appointment, I took off of work. About a half hour prior to the appointment time, it was cancelled. I get it, stuff happens. I was a bit put off by the last minute cancel and the wasted day off. I went to reschedule and they had nothing for several weeks. I asked if they can make an exception since they were the ones to cancel and they could not. They asked if I wanted a zoom appointment (not sure how that would work???). I live 10 minutes away from their office. In the mean time I had 3 other local contractors (who had all been recommended) come out. All three were half of the price of the "estimate" I was given over the phone. Obviously this company does not need work. I cancelled my second appointment in an email to the company outlining my reasons.
