We were very fortunate to find Acclaim Renovations and Design located in Mentor, Ohio. I can not tell you how they turned our old and tired kitchen it to a sensational up to date kitchen. Visitors who see the kitchen are shocked at the transformation. Acclaim is not your usual contractor performing work on your house. The workers doing your remodel are employees of the company and not subcontractors. There is no down time. When they project your start and end to the project you can bank on it. The workers start the same time each day and end up the same time. The clean up is excellent each and every day. There are no surprises. They have a program called co- construct in which every decision is reviewed and approved on line as it occurs. Any changes that may increase or decrease the cost of your project are approved by both parties. The companies they use to get your products for your remodel are helpful and offer guidance. They also provide the option of having a designer assigned to your project and its worth every penny you spend. The owner Bob Gallese expects top level design and renovation. I always say a mark of an excellent company is its leadership and Bob is involved in every way. An on site supervisor visits the job every day to assure your projects is constructed as expected. This company is one of a kind.

Please do not assume that a $55 six-inch shade is beyond my reach based on whatever judgment you made about me when I entered your shop. Also, paying $35 above RETAIL for a Pooky's cordless lamp is a bit much. I paid it for convenience because I value my time, but the owners should rethink their pricing. At some point, you're signaling you're okay gouging your customers and that's an integrity problem.
