First of all, they used my garden hose and, I guess, they ran over it, not intentionally but the nozzle was broken in several places, could not find the broken pieces. They must have picked them up and discarded them. They did not tell me, I would have understood if this was an accident, but I needed to know. The sprayer cannot be removed from the hose so I can replace it. Now I need to buy a new hose, not just the nozzle. The foreman in charge, when called, said the nozzle just broke off in his hands. Picture shows this cannot be true. Also left marks on pavement that will not come off. Marks came from equipment. Left marks on my gutter and bricks of my home. Looks like burn marks, unsightly. Edge was broken down with tracks from a vehicle and weeds again coming up through asphalt. I know these are petty things but still would like for the person in charge to admit their wrong doings and be honest. Will think twice before recommending them to neighbors or friends.

Last fall my second home developed a leak over the back porch. I contacted Angi's for…read morerecommendations and received five. I contacted all five of them for quotes and chose Shingler on the Roof. The first company that I contacted immediately assumed that the entire roof would need to be replaced, before seeing it. They went out to assess the situation and provided me with a quote that was far more than I had anticipated. I then contacted the other four and found a wide divergence between them, both in terms of price and presentation of their quotes. When I contacted Shingler on the Roof, I liked that Mark did not immediately assume the entire roof would have to be replaced. However, following a site visit, he determined that it was the original roof and it was showing wear. He sent me several photos so I could see its deteriorating condition. He determined that it should be replaced and provided a quote that fell in the middle of the five. He was patient and responsive to my questions as I made a final decision. Once I committed to the job, we met at the house to go over a preliminary contract. Mark explained that the cost could be higher depending upon what he found under the original shingles. He and his crew fit me into their schedule fairly quickly. Once they started the project, Mark kept me appraised of their progress on the job. As it turns out, there was considerable damage under the old shingles. Once again, Mark provided photos which showed the severe damage. I felt fortunate for the original leak because I could have had a far worse situation if the roof had not been replaced. Mark and his team did an excellent job and cleaned up the site after they finished. The roof looks great and I would highly recommend Shingler on the Roof.
