Huevos divorciados, not on the menu, but a great breakfast option. Top three hotel breakfasts I have ever had! Still dream about it!

Hands down one of the BEST breakfasts in a hotel ever! Spa was great, staff helpful and rooms were exactly as pictured. Wish they had a lunch option other than room service or pre-made sandwiches, only room for critique.

A+++ I have to say this was one of the best W experiences I've had. I typically stay in Ws and jump on the opportunity when my wife and I were doing a long weekend in Mex City. I am a Marriott Platinum and used my suite awards to get the most luxurious upgrade....bi-level king with two full bathrooms and a small outside patio. It seemed as though every staff member just wanted to make our stay better. Chatting and asking us if we needed anything. The concierge helped with dinner reservations and the staff at breakfast were so nice and pleasant. I would go up to grab more bread at breakfast and they would be waiting for me to push in my chair and hand me my napkin. We had a couple of issues with our blow dryer and they immediately came up with a new one - within minutes. Sometimes asking for amenities at hotels can take forever. Lastly, our room lock ran out of batteries and we couldn't get into our room. I think the problem was solved in less than 10 mins. I was super impressed. GYM is fantastic - but similar to other Ws. They have a nice jacuzzi and steam room to enjoy. Breakfast was amazing - the choices are plentiful. For our COVID test, we had a doctor come to our room the day before we were leaving and they scheduled that for us. I highly recommend this hotel in the beautiful area of Polanco

Absolutely stunning hotel. Staff, amenities and not to mention location is great. Close to Chapultepec, El zocato, plenty restaurant and museums. Ohhhh not to mention if you don't want to leave and just have a great meal they have the J by José Andrés restaurant in their second floor witch is a must try itself. Highly recommend staying!

I was looking for a Temezcal while in the city and I accidentally read an article in The NY Times that recommended a Temezcal at the W. I called the day before the actual service and they were able to accommodate me which I was so grateful for! The next day I took an Uber to my very first Temezcal. I was instantly greeted and taken to the floor the spa was located. The elevators were a bit small but super cool. Everything inside this hotel was so modern contemporary I loved it. I was greeted by the receptionist and quickly took me to the women's locker to prepare for the ritual. The entire experience was so magical and so happy that I took a leap of faith to make an appointment. I hope to return the next time I'm in town. Thank You!

If you have stayed at a W Hotel you know the service and property is going to be first class. But there was something extra about it being the Mexico City one where the staff just goes above that and treats you like royalty or a rock star. Five star all the way and enjoyed the complementary upgrade to club level floor for being a Starwood member. Espero quedarme pronto otra vez!!

The food options here are frankly... terrible. It's at the point where they are offering to order from a local restaurant to make up for it

First time staying at this hotel while on business trip with a side of museum visits (Soumaya and…read moreAnthropology). This is the best hotel I've stayed at in CDMX on approximately 30+ trips here. This includes the W (nope), Westin (uh-uh), Sheraton (chaos, if there's a demonstration - and there usually is one ongoing), even the St. Regis, Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott - all too stuffy. Santiago from NJ, by way of the NYU Shanghai campus, was excellent and almost everyone here speaks English perfectly. I felt like I was in NYC, except that the service was better and the staff was much more accommodating. Breakfast was included, nothing spectacular, but everything was solid, good coffee, fresh fruit, fresh pastries, good jams and yogurt. Perfect, light start to the day. The room was not big, but well laid out with every amenity, refrigerator, beverages, Nespresso machine, bottled water and a selection of assorted snacks - all complimentary (except alcohol, unnecessary with all the good bars nearby). The gym was literally situated in a single hotel room on the lower floor. It was tiny, but fully equipped for a one-person, HIIT session. The single issue was the incessant bass drone from the bar nearby. Earplugs didn't work because it wasn't possible to mask the low Hz frequency effectively. Every major museum was about a 25 minute stroll through scenic neighborhoods to get to. Some of the best restaurants (Nobu, Sylvestre) were around the corner. All in all this is probably the best place to stay in CDMX. If not for the bass from the bar, which was totally not the hotel's fault, this was probably the quietest hotel I've ever stayed in Mexico (no children or pets, I think, but not sure). No drunk teens shouting in the hallways - idyllic. About $500-$700/night depending on date. Totally worth it.

Park Hyatt Residencies next door was under construction at the time, so one of the drop off areas was one-way only. Hyatt Regency Mexico City is a separate property from Hyatt Regency Mexico City Insurgentes. The former is 25 minutes away from the MEX airport. We loved the 40th floor club that gave us free breakfast every day. Food was ok, but I enjoyed the coffee and concha every morning. The fitness center on the 3rd floor was 24/7. Unfortunately the tennis and pickleball courts cost a fee to rent; the equipment also costs to rent. The pool is kinda indoor but is only open certain hours. The sauna is inside the restroom/lockers and are closed when the pool closes. They have restaurants on the lobby level, but I did not get to try them. My king room was good. The toilet flushed so vehemently. The shower had two shower heads - one was a rain shower head and one was handheld. The WiFi was good. The AC worked. Every day I heard talking and screaming from the rooms around us and their annoying children. I don't blame the hotel. I hope I can come back soon!

I read the reviews before I came here; however I came to this location to stay in a regency suite…read moreand I had an amazing experience. The suite has a massive bedroom and living room with some of the best views of Mexico City. Unfortunately, some of those views are starting to get blocked by the construction of the new park Hyatt, which they're opening next door; however the views from the 42nd floor here are amazing. Access to the suites or to club rooms give people access to the club lounge. This was clutch as the lounge is well stocked with water and soft drinks, and they have good food (including a really decent breakfast) laid out throughout the day, and there are plenty of tables where one can take care of business/work. The vibes were amazing when I would wake up to coffee, fresh squeezed juice, freshly baked pan dulce, fruits, chilaquiles, and smoked salmon with amazing views of Chapultepec park. "Light bites in the evening" differed nightly and they included drinks (including alcohol), top class desserts, and tasty finger foods. It's saved us on nights we were too tired to go out after a full day. Service was great from staff. The only drawback is that this location can be 20-25 minutes from anywhere you'd want to go that's outside of Polanco (due to traffic that's as bad as any place I've been in the world); however, Polanco has a unique, international business district vibe that differs than a lot of Mexico City (which can be a negative or a positive, depending on what you're looking for). On weekends, there are some cool local events if you're staying here. I woke up to walk to parque Lincoln for their Saturday market. On Sunday, paseo de la reforma is closed to traffic and locals can walk or bike 12km between here and centro historico, if they desire. Overall, I had a great stay here and I think that if you're lucky to have a suite, then the experience is amazing. When Park Hyatt opens next door in late 2026 to 2027, it will take over as Hyatt's premier property in Mexico City. It will be interesting to see if the Hyatt Regency suite/club room experience will remain as a luxury destination when the park hyatt brand opens next door. Secondly, in May 2026, Hyatt's loyalty program will be changing, causing a massive devaluation of points, which will raise the cost of their rooms and suites via that method of payment. I think the Hyatt Regency suites and club rooms are an amazing way to enjoy the city; however, the cost is high, and you would have to weigh whether it is worth it for you. This said, for my stay in April 2026, it was absolutely worth it, and I will never forget the experience!

But after my stay here, I can say they were absolutely right!!! This is the most perfect hotel/B&B EVER. I'm so glad I stayed here over other soulless hotels that were cheaper. From the first welcome to the last goodbye, every staff member here has made us feel so warm and cared for. Breakfast: This was my absolute favorite part -- I usually don't care for hotel breakfasts because I'm always on the go, but once I had the first bite, I moved our itinerary around so that we could get their breakfast every morning! They start around 7am with the bread and coffee, but the hot breakfasts start at 8am and end at 10am. I got to try chilaquiles, enchiladas, and enmoladas while I was here, and they really make them with heart and soul! These were the best things I ate during my trip to Mexico City! Also really loved the outside garden in the mornings with all the greenery and birds chirping. Location: in the heart of La Condesa, walking distance to Roma Norte, both neighborhoods were great for strolling through parks and art galleries. We ubered to other places further away and it was so cheap and convenient. Rooms: We stayed here for 4 nights and went to Oaxaca for 3, then back to the Red Tree House for the last night, and both rooms we had were cozy and comfy, with AC. They have great shampoo/conditioner and shower gel, amazing water pressure and temperature, everything was so clean, and I got to sit outside in the balcony and took it slow for the last morning we were there. Housekeeping was amazing, everything was perfect when we came back every night. Safety: They lock their front doors and the front gate so you need your key to get in, and there's a safe in every room. Happy Hour every night 6-8PM: This was such an unexpected bonus! I didn't even plan for us to be at the hotel during those hours because I wanted to see everything in CDMX, but it ended up raining during those hours and we went to one, and it was so much fun chitchatting with other like-minded travelers who shared what they loved about their trip -- We ended up going to a few more & got so many tips from other guests! The hotel dogs Romeo & Booz - I love them and miss them so much! Side note: I LOOOOVED all the art work and interior design and colors. Felt like I was in an art gallery but at the same time so comfortable at a friend's home. HIGHLY recommend!!! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!

It is a refuge away from the busyness of the city. The breakfasts are to die for and the happy hour was an opportunity to socialise and network which is helpful when the city is new to you.
