The clerk (Savannah) when I sat down I told her I couldn't afford to pay the co-pay right then and they could add it to my payment plan I was already paying on. She said it says right here I need to collect the money up front. I again said I just told you I couldn't pay it today. She said here I'll give you some papers to apply for assistance. I took the papers but at that point I was very hurt and embarrassed. I always worked when I was younger and always paid my bills. I was already nervous about my procedure because I didn't know the outcome at that time. I think (Savannah) needs to show a little compassion when talking to patients. The things that they are doing to people is very evident and we know how we sent our resident to this place. I finally, after being critical ill because of these people,went to another hospital and it is the opposite of this place.The staff are caring, professional and as different as night and dayI honestly feel I am alive today because of this professional treatment center I found.t is wonderfull! You are treated as a person and know they are the best.Very very efficiently operated and take the exact insurance as this Hux place. Another different aspect is the amazing staff where I go now,they actually talk to you and treat the whole person. It was the best experience at this I've ever had. Each and every person there was caring and attentive. IV insertion was nothing more than a prick...no pain whatsoever. I'm not used to that. I never woke up during the procedure and yet, I remember most of our conversation in recovery...which says a lot about the anesthesiologist. I never want to have a colonoscopy done anywhere else or by anyone else. The entire staff was precious. They called me at home later to see how I was doing. I've never had such care before.
