For reference, I drive a 2022 Honda civic with less than 40k miles on it, so my car is very well taken care of. If I take it to the dealership it typically costs me about $75 for an oil change. I was charged $90 here and they forgot to turn off the check light as well, so I had to go back inside to request they turn it off. I felt like I was taken advantage of here, they were not transparent with their prices, and did not even fully complete the job. I was very disappointed as the service did not match the almost five start review here.

Among this EXTENSIVE list, they told me that I needed new brake pads AND rotors for ALL 4 tires, and a brake fluid "flush". There were additional items as well. The quote was, in my humble opinion, astronomical, so I decided to go elsewhere for another quote. I was lucky enough to find McKee 3, Inc. This business will forever have my loyalty! I told them that I was going on a trip and wanted to make sure that my car was in good shape before leaving. I asked them to inspect my car and let me know what work needed to be done and give me a quote. They ended up telling me that I did need brake pads on all 4 tires, but that only 2 of the tires needed rotors. The gentleman also mentioned that the brake fluid flush was usually added to "pad" a person's bill. When I took the car in this time I had also asked for new wipers because I had been noticing that the wipers were leaving a streaky mess instead of actually removing the rain from my windshield. The wipers were not in my original estimate from Toyota, because I had forgotten to mention it when I brought my car in for its oil change. Despite this, my bill was 40% less than what was quoted at Toyota. My car rides like a dream now. The fact of the matter is that being a woman who doesn't know much about cars, I guess I am probably ripe pickings for being taken advantage of in the car repair business. They could have told me that my car desperately needed some random part that doesn't even exist, and I wouldn't have known the difference. The fact that they talked me out of doing unnecessary work says something important about this company. They were completely honorable and ethical with me. Even if my bill hadn't been as inexpensive as it was, I would still recommend this company wholeheartedly due to the honesty and integrity of their employees. I had my car serviced here last Wednesday. On Friday my check engine light came on. I went to the…read morelocation only to realize they close on Friday afternoons. As I was leaving for a trip I did not want to ignore it. I stopped at another quickie place to see what was the problem. I messaged the owner on messenger. He called me within 10 minutes. After discussing the issue he sent a Jonathan Paim (who was off) to me. He brought a precious little man with him. He diagnosed my problem, went in the quickie place, purchased what he needed to fix the issue and did so on the spot. I waited in the care and was reading a book. I couldn't help but hear him explain to the little boy what he was doing and how to fix it. Jonathan used it as a teaching tool. I apologized to Benjamin for messing up his afternoon. He said it was not a problem. He had very sweet manners. My depart time was delayed but it was a pleasure to see a business and their staff stand behind their customers. It was also refreshing to see children with manners.

He's gotten an engine replaced from the same place. I still did my due diligence and researched, etc. Even though they were the most expensive, the motor they found was the one with the lowest mileage by a landslide. The other reason I chose them, was because the mechanic I originally spoke with, Chris West, was extremely personable, very knowledgeable, and took the time to answer and explain all questions I had. He seemed to really take pride in his work. I got off to a rocky start with the owner, Carter, but I feel like that was in part because of me. I only wanted to speak to Chris because we had already spoken and he knew my situation. Eventually, I did warm up to him, but Chris is still my favorite! (Sorry/not sorry lol) Almost brand new motor (50,000 miles - which is 100,000 less than the old one), new serpentine belt (which it needed, the old one was frayed), new water pump, oil filter and oil change, thermostat, air filter, radiator cap, torque mount, spark plugs, intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, and transmission fluid. Also, as they were doing all this, it was discovered that I needed a new cv axle assembly. However, the guys finagled the numbers so that the final price wound up being only $6 more than the original quoted price (which had not included the cv axle assembly).
