If you're looking for movers who truly care, take pride in their work, and go the extra mile for…read moretheir customers, I highly recommend Pinky's Moving Service. We had a medical emergency the day before our scheduled move, which caused unexpected delays and a very stressful situation. The owner of Pinky's was compassionate and did everything he could to make sure our move would still be successful. His willingness to work with us made a difficult time much easier. The moving crew of 4 was outstanding. They worked through a light rain without complaint and took exceptional care of our belongings. I appreciated how thoroughly they wrapped and protected our TVs, as well as larger pieces of furniture like our hutch and bookcase with glass doors. It was clear they treated our possessions as if they were their own. From start to finish, everyone at Pinky's was customer-oriented. I got the sense that the owner and every member of the crew would do whatever it took to ensure we were completely satisfied, which we were!

I contacted my lawyer and hope to take them to small claims court. Paid cash to Trent/owner(?) and had to beg for a receipt, Trent called the Saturday before the move and said they would be there in an hour- they had the wrong day scheduled. They use 1 layer of green saran wrap to 'protect' the furniture. Dropped my credenza off of the truck ramp which broke off the glass doors. Have not been reimbursed for damages. Was told by Trent he did not want to pay the $1,000.00 deductable to file my claim. Have not received a cent for damaged/destroyed furniture.

Parker Services installed our Amana heat pump unit in 2018. When we needed repair in December 2024,…read morethey came out and diagnosed it as a leaking coil with no refrigerant left in the system. The diagnostic charge was $130 which is fair. The repair estimate (labor) to replace the coil was $1230 plus refrigerant, (the part was under warranty) which the tech said would be about another $1000. The labor estimate of $1230 was to be two techs for four hours each (8 hours total labor). Our unit holds about 16 pounds of R410A, which we bought online at a very substantial savings ($230 for 25#) so obviously there is well over a 300% markup on their refrigerant pricing. Once the new coil was received by Parker Services, they came out to install it. The first tech was there alone for one hour before the second tech arrived ($160). The second tech was there together with the first tech for one hour ($260), then the first tech left, and the second tech was there alone for 2 more hours ($320). This is using their labor rates, and should have been a total of $740 for labor. After about 10 days of requesting an itemized invoice from "Buddy", we received an invoice via email for the full amount of the initial "estimate" of $1230, which was broken down as $130 for diagnostic (correct), and $1100 for labor ($260 per hour for two men @ 3 hours and $160 for one man @ 2 hours) which was incorrect. I called Jeremy to try to get this reduced to the proper amount of $870. ($740 actual labor cost, plus $130 diagnostic), but still received an "itemized" invoice for $1230, with incorrect labor hours on it. This is an overbilling of $360. We are mailing them a check for the full invoice amount. Unless this is resolved, we will not be using Parker Services in the future. Also, we only used 16 pounds of the 25 pounds of refrigerant that we bought, and gave the remaining 8 pounds to the tech. I am retired from commercial construction and have built $60 million dollar buildings so I have plenty of experience and knowledge in the HVAC industry. I also have known the founders of Parker Services for many years but would not recommend using them.

The guy "Buddy" is anything but your buddy. He also cussed us out and told us its not his fault we are poor! Office was equally rude, acting like we took several hours of their time even though I paid over $400 for NOTHING. NEVER GO HERE.
