The first time my husband and I went to them, they left a rag on top of my husband's engine. We both got oil changes, both Maseratis. We gave them a second chance, and went back again. This time I had to get gasket seals replaced on my Maserati Levante. I dropped my car off on August 28 at 8am. We were notified later that day they didn't have all the parts. They said the part would be in on Tuesday, September 1. September 2 or 3 we were told that the technician that was assigned to my car walked off the job and they were going to have the owner come in and fix the car. Long story short we didn't get my car back until September 8. I asked for a 10% discount when I picked up my car because I felt they inconvenienced me. I was told, they were inconvenience because THEIR employee walked off the job and the owner, that doesn't even fix cars anymore, had to come in and fix my car. Not my problem. They communicated all issues and did no work until I approved it first. The work was first rate and they did everything to ensure I was satisfied. The Jetta has never run so well. My wife drove her BMW 320i through deep standing water after a summer rain storm. The engine sucked water in and died. I had the car towed to Wagenhaus as I already knew their reputation. They had the car for two weeks and it was up on one of their lifts for much of that time while they waited for the engine to dry out so they could assess the damage. They were patient and accommodating with me as I called every other day for updates. Turned out one of the cylinders had lost compression and the engine would need to be replaced. I arranged to sell the car to a salvage dealer to get some money out of it and Wagenhaus allowed me to keep the car at their place until that could pan out. So, in total, they had the car for over two weeks with it taking up space in their shop for much of that and in the end I was charged for what amounted to a little over 2-3 hours of labor, which was less than I was originally quoted and far less than the thousands of dollars I initially expected. This is my second excellent experience with Wagenhaus, and I am a customer for life. They are professional, honest, and competent. Missy is great! Their mechanics are top notch. Just had front brakes on our Mercedes replaced. As usual they did a great job in a reasonable amount of time and the price was very Reasonable. There was a service we thought we needed, but they were honest and let us know it wasn't needed at this time. I love that they are honest and really care about their customers. I waited while my care was being serviced and heard and saw the interaction they had with other customers. They run a respectable business that I feel serves our community well. If you have money and don't mind wasting it and keep bringing your car in repeatedly, then this place is for you. Stay away from this ripoff establishment. I had a brand new transmission installed. Shortly afterwards, my trans position sensor was bad. Upon, replacing it at their garage, the part they replaced looked old and used. I called where the transmission was from, they informed me that that part was brand new and tested. I think they swap my new part for a failing old one so I have to come back and replace it( for a big cost!!!) I once had a water pump( after they installed transmission that mysteriously went bad. Once again after the " courtesy inspection with nothing to report prior. I was told I was lucky that the motor didn't break. Really???? Then had to turn right around after driving off lot due to engine light illuminating. I was told a hose was loose. I guess. A door regulator went bad. I told them what was the problem. They charged me 150.00 for a diagnostic. I already told them it was a window regulator. I seriously doubt they even took of the door cover. The total cost would have been 1500 plus. WTF!. They bought a new building and they have to pay for it. To rip customers off, parts missing or swapped, and misquotes pricing makes me want to give zero stars. Run!!! Stay away. Go somewhere else. James McGarvey ( Wagonhaus) is a crook! I brought my car to him for an oil leak. He was referred to as an excellent mechanic and knowledgeable of VW, a bit pricey but worth it. He did fix the oil leak (thank you). However I was told that my sway bar and both axels needed to be replaced. I agreed because I trusted him. Well the axels did not need to be replaced and come to find out axels should rarely be replaced. Please note I had no problem with steering or alignment. In fact my mechanic had recently replaced all four of my tires and checked the axels and sway bar (nothing was wrong with either part). Now both ball bearings have to be replaced because he damaged them while replacing axels. When I came to pick up the car, he told me there was a noise and it should work itself out. Well it didn't work itself out. I brought the car back, he replaced the axels again! AND tells me for $1200. he can fix the ball bearings?! Really, he is going to charge me for his screw up! I so want to take him to court, however it would be my mechanics word over his. My mechanic wished he had taken pictures of my car before I sent it to this louse. I wouldn't trust him to work on my car and strongly suggest to stay away from him. My mechanic feels horrible about this situation and word is out to anyone and everyone in the area to steer clear of him. You can call Valley VW Auto and they'll tell you how many cars that they have had to redo the work from Wagonhaus. I learned a valuable lesson at a high price tag. read more

Not at all happy with this shop. Just spent over 4000.00 on BMW repairs. One of the repairs was for a radiator hose that did not leak, but had a bad seal, that I did not know about. Got the car home yesterday and now it leaks 3-foot wide puddles of coolant onto the the garage floor, which it never did before. So NOW they want to replace the radiator for another 750.00. So, apparently, I broke my own radiator on the way home? No way. read more

Scumbags. Said they would charge me $150 to drill out a broke stud. Service completed. Give me the invoice to pay, almost $200. I ask the girl who gave it to me who is also the girl who quoted me $150 why it isn't $150 as she quoted. She says she forgot their service rate per hour went up to $160. Really?! Then why is it almost $200. She says tax. I point out on the invoice where tax is $11 and some change. $160 + $11 isn't $200. They refused to correct it and insisted I paid the nearly $200. I went here based on a recommendation. Take my recommendation and be assured these people are the dishonest crook shops you hear about all the time. They are not honest. Stay far, Fay away. Took 2005 Mini Cooper which I thought had a leaking head gasket. Come to find out Jim Wagenhaus found a bolt missing on a clamp which conversely was the primary source of the antifreeze leak. Honest shop, which could have taken me to the cleaners. The secondary leak was the radiator cap which was ordered and promptly replaced the following day. The entire car was leak tested and no other leaks were found. This is the second time Jim and his team have saved me a fortune! They also flushed the manual transmission fluid. I had my radiator blow on my mk5 VW gti and they were the only shop in town that could get it done for me that day or the day after. They did the radiator very well and I couldn't be more thankful for the work they did on my vehicle. Unfortunately after I had already pulled out and driven approximately a mile I noticed that my radio would not turn on. I went back and they assisted in checking all of my fuses. After seeing none were blown I went to a car audio shop to see if they could help me out. My radio interface box had been fried. My radio worked when I got to the shop and I left without it working at all. Today I went to the shop and found only one mechanic that told me to come back a little later. I ended up calling later and they told me that this was no fault of their own and that they could not have caused this by disconnecting the battery because they never did that. My trip was reset when I got back in the car (happens when the battery is disconnected). This doesn't just happen and now I am 200 dollars down after buying the new interface, with no help at all from wagenhaus. Overall I am grateful for the work they did but I am quite upset that I am being forced to buy a part for something someone else did. read more

I was very disappointed with Wagenhaus after taking my car to them and having my clutch replaced. Since they failed to check the install sheet on the clutch, they didn't put it in correctly. What's even worse, after scheduling an appointment to have the clutch adjusted properly and waiting a week, when I got there they just told me to leave it and they would try to get around to it in the next couple of days. Really?!? I had already paid them to do this properly and they didn't. Nor do they even care about trying to fix their mistake. Evidently, taking 30min or less to correct their work is just asking way too much. I'm just speachless that they didn't even give a damn about the quality of their work. While I'm going on about their work, I might as well share how they broke part of my center console and instead of just telling me about it, they tried to hide it from me. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. I will never go back, and I will never recommend them either. Do yourself a favor and find someone that takes at least a little pride in their work. read more
