Thanks Yelp for helping us find Abbie!…read more As new PAWrents, our good boi was picking up commands, potty training really well but we wanted some help with leash walking (as Benny boy loves to pull) AND we knew we were bringing home another pup so we wanted Abbie to meet Benny first to help us if there were any behavioral changes. With Abbie's help, we made small changes to have a more consistent training vocabulary between my husband and me. She also gave us great tips & tricks. I also LOVE that she has a Facebook group for all her clients - we've had a couple of puppy play dates already! Her rates are reasonable and transparently disclosed on her website! So beyond training, she also has field trips (training WITH her in environments with distractions) as well as adventures (where she takes your pup(s) out!) We had Abbie come by to take Benny on an adventure so that we could have some 1:1 training time with Jette. She took ADORABLE pictures of Benny on his adventure. I'm so grateful to have Abbie has a resource and guide through the puppy process!

I really like having someone come over to my house so that I can show what I'm doing, and she can show me the best way to proceed. Have a couple more sessions already set up with her... and am looking forward to it. Definitely suggest using Abbie as your source for all things pup-related.

He didn't just train our dog--he trained us how to communicate with her effectively. The results were incredible: she is noticeably calmer, more submissive, and overall much happier. Danny's methods are simple, practical, and easy to apply in everyday situations--both inside and outside the home. He truly lives up to the title of a "dog whisperer." Our girl has always been wary of men, yet she responds to Danny with ease and trust, which speaks volumes about his approach. What stands out most is that Danny didn't teach us to avoid our dog's triggers. Instead, he showed us how to calmly and confidently handle them and set both our dog and ourselves up for success. Walks are no longer stressful--we no longer feel the need to dodge people or other dogs. Instead, they've become enjoyable again. The Saturday pack walks have quickly become the highlight of our week. Danny consistently provides encouraging and constructive feedback that helps us continue progressing and building confidence. Whoever said you can't teach an old dog new tricks has clearly never worked with Danny. We are beyond grateful for his guidance and highly recommend K-9 Behavior Rehabilitation to anyone looking to transform their relationship with their dog.

Her space is comfortable, safe for the dogs and perfectly located downtown Ply. Judy also does 1-1 and home trainings too. She helped get us started with our rescue pup who was afraid of the sound of her own breathing. Judy taught us some key skills which included changing some of our habits in our house. With any animal that had an unknown or came from an abusive previous home, it takes time to help build trust and change some of the behaviors of the animal. With Judy's guidance and our diligence over the last few years to creating a safe and learning environment for our pup, she's a happy, loving, brave and mostly non-reactive dog. There's always skills we need to bring back into our rotation but it's all thanks to Judy to help us along the way. We've recommended her to many people and my mom is active in classes with her new puppy.

COVID RESPONSE UPDATE:…read more Our pup Oliver has been feeling super cooped up over the last few months. Walks can only do so much and he was really restless and getting into some trouble around the house. He really needed some socialization so we decided to take him to BreedAbove for a play date. I called ahead to make sure his vaccines were up to date (it's been a while since he had been) and emailed the updated certificates to get him all set up. The next day we dropped him off and he was SO EXCITED he didn't even look back at me as they took him in. He had the best time and I was so happy to see him tired and satisfied. "He played hard with EVERYONE!" they told me when I picked him up! Pick up and drop off is all curbside and staff is masked. I was so happy to see some of our favorite staff members there after almost a year away, and they were just as excited to see Oliver, remembering him after all this time (they also remembered his sister Poppy, who is not so into playing with other dogs and stayed home with us). The windows are all decorated super cute with lots of positive notes painted on the side. I had to update my payment info since my card expired since last we were here and they came out to take the card and brought it back out to me so I didn't have to go inside at all. I ended up buying another batch of day passes for him and I'm excited to be able to drop him off easily and safely whenever he needs a little excitement.

Please take the time to read, as this may be quite lengthy…read more I know the nature of doing business is trying to make a profit, however, based on our personal interaction with Paul, you would never get the impression that making a profit was what mattered. He made it abundantly clear that you and the loss of your beloved pet is what mattered. We called to seek services and without even hesitation or the mention of packages and pricing, all Paul wanted to know was "What was her name." Not in a way to write up a form, but in general interest of wanting to know what important pet has left your family. My family has been in animal rescue for years and no one has ever taken that caring approach on wanting to know about the pet first. What was she like, how she mattered to you and her importance in your life. He made you feel like you indeed are dealing with a loss and it was definitely significant. Upon meeting him, it was understood why. He had a dog, Brady, that was his whole world. This dog travelled the nation with him and was his companion for years. He was known in the community and was very beloved. Sadly, he passed away and Paul knew first hand the great loss it weighs on the heart. He took that loss and somehow translated into being able to comfort those during their sadness and making them feel like they are not just a transaction. He sympathized, because he felt that pain before. He understood, because he has been there before. And for some, these pets are their whole world, and he has known that, because he had Brady. This is the kind of care that you want handling your cremations for your fur babies. You want someone who will cradle them, as they carry them away from your car and you want someone who hands you back a beautiful urn with a lovely wildflower seed heart to plant, so that the love continues to live on. I do not say this lightly, but if you are in your time of despair due to pet loss... Paul is the best person to handle your cremation needs. Thank you Paul.

They offer compassionate options for burial, cremation, and pre-planning, all handled with respect. If you want a final resting place that honors your companion's unconditional love, you won't find better care than at Whispering Pines. Highly recommend.
