The store is basically the only grocery in the immediate area. Wren being small, has some limitations as to the number of large chains in the area. And that can be a good thing. The parking is ample, the parking lot clean and no carts left out. The store front was clear, no debris or trash laying around. Inside the store the produce are, isles and deli were all clear. Well stocked, with out any empty shelves. A good selection of pantry items, international food selection, produce and deli. Clearly priced and WIC stickers for those qualifying products. The staff was friendly, neatly dressed, and helpful. Double coupons are accepted, with limitation. A nice twist, since that is a rarity anymore. We will visit again when in the Wren area. For stuff I actually wanted, the Publixes closer to Augusta were comparable in selection. I found some decent stuff here, not quite as much on sale as I'd hoped, and there were a few specialty items that I wanted that weren't here. But checkout was easy enough and for basic groceries this place will certainly get the job done.

You have to shop their sales. The staff is exceptional from the people working in the aimed to the cashiers. They are polite and very courteous and helpful and I give them 5 stars. But they are overpriced the meat is usually good but those ribs I bought I would be ashamed to serve them to a stray dog. Do better with your prices, I'm guessing your profit margins are a lot higher than most chain stores. How shameful.

Not only were a lot of greens out of stock, but they were usually not fresh. Their bakery goods seem decent and everything else you need typically from a super market would be in stock. The employees do seem to keep it well maintained, organized, and cleaned. Plenty of parking space too. Overall, about a 2.5 of 5 stars compared to other Food Lions I've shopped at.
