Its actually astonishing how many people come in and are greeted by their first name. I was given lowest legal price in CT and gotten a delivery for a really min fee when i had a BBQ last summer. As someone whose worked in restaurants and understands CT pricing laws thats a big deal for a local liquor store to do that. Selection- THE BEST craft beer selection in town! There is always something new or different being recommended by Mike and the staff. I'm a huge fan of the craft beers and they really do offer a big selection for a friendly neighborhood store. My mother in law always get wine there and says the selection is perfect and Mikes a "sweetheart" Parking is easy and you could be in and out in a few minutes. Pricing is very good and very competitive. I have to respond to the "mystery shopper" Maybe you should shop a little bit more I don't... mysteriously! I would certainly question in my place of business, someone taking 40 pictures for 20 minutes and lurking in the corner. Sorry in this day and age you cant be too careful. If something is out of place like a random person taking pictures and acting out of place, thats concerning. Then to go online and personally attack someone is really rude and disrespectful. I'm sure the company that paid you would not appreciate it, especially if you are at a business that is supporting their products. The review seems really misplaced At the end of the day I would recommend this store to anyone and everyone because they are exactly the type of business i want in my neighborhood. I've been in there many times and have purchased many bottles of whiskey, wines, and liquors over the years and never had a problem. I don't have a problem with the staff per se...but rather the young woman with the glasses behind the counter. I had purchased an assortment of bottled wines and brandies and they were not boxed. So...I asked the young lady to please wrap them in silver paper and tie them with green or red ribbon for the holidays...as they were to be given to various people as gifts. She rang up my purchase, I paid her and she slapped down the wrapping bags and ribbon on the counter. She stated that she doesn't or wouldn't be able to wrap my bottles. Now I looked behind me and there were no other people on line...so I did not understand the problem or why she wouldn't do this for me. Most if not ALL liquor stores wrap your bottles for the Holidays. I told her I'm not sure how to do this very well and that I don't have a scissors on me and that I needed to make various stops when I leave here. She told me she doesn't wrap and that was that. So rather than fight and make a scene in the store...I put my bottles in a box because they don't give bags with your purchase, I told her she was very rude and left the store. Never to go back again. That's NO WAY to treat any customer anytime! There are too many other liquor stores a person can go to. Won't be going back there. Sorry.....
