This shouldnt be called a resort - it's very far from it…read more The venue is pretty and on a golf course, so when you rent a condo you can choose the lake view or golf course view. The condos are spacious but there are too many silly rules and requests to follow for a "resort." These include: *dishes - there's a note inside the kitchen that says the dishes have been "washed" but not sanitized.. wtf?! Like thanks for rinsing dishes and putting unsanitary utensils back in the drawers. That's sure normal.. not. You have to wash the dishes provided BEFORE using them. THEN they ask you to clean the kitchen up before departure and clean all dishes. Why do WE clean it? Isn't this a "resort?" *towels - they give you x amount of towels.. and also have a note that if you need more, you have to bring your own. How accommodating! *trash - you have to take out your own trash before you check out. Huh?! At a resort?! Ok. *linens - the bed linens are so sad. They're thin and old and i saw some strands of hair on the comforter. Barf. It's pretty pricey for what you get, and i wish they'd take it up a notch to make it worth something for guests. It felt like the owners have no idea about hospitality these days and charge guests way too much for the rentals, so much so that guests have to put in work themselves while on "vacation."

The bar area that we walked through seemed like a great place to gather and enjoy a cold beverage. My wife ordered the grilled shrimp and she said it was some of the best she has had in a long time. I ordered the t-bone steak and it was cooked the way I ordered it and came with a lot of Montreal steak season on it but it did taste just fine. Our server kept the kids drinks full as well as our beers full. Before we left we got to meet the owners and both of them where very nice and shared some information about their great smoked meats they're so proud of. We will be back to try this out as we don' t live too far away.

Cheese curds come with two dipping sauces, ranch and chipotle-ranch choices. The broasted chicken is my favorite in the area, but not served on Fridays. Fridays they have a fish fry. They have a dining area that is separate from the bar area, both serve drinks and food. The restaurant is clean and there is a good atmosphere. We will be back.

While killing time waiting to get into our rental, our large group of 20 people looked around Trego…read morefor a place to grab a drink and a bite, and we went to The Still. It wasn't busy when we showed up, but we and a few other parties eventually filled up the place. The staff were so accommodating and didn't even bat an eye at our large group. Our bartender and server were both very friendly and attentive, we were served our drinks and our many apps and entrees flawlessly and everything was delicious. There was also a game room that kept the youngest of our group occupied, apologies for all the yells of delight from our gaggle of cousins! I ordered the jalapeño poppers and while they were good, the fry oil was a bit old so they were more brown than golden. It didn't stop me from eating them all though! I also had the steak melt - on Texas Toast - and it was incredible, really hit the spot. My husband had the bleu cheese burger and really enjoyed it.
