I had the ribeye, medium rare, with garlic parmesan fries and mac & cheese. The ribeye needed more seasoning and some areas that were seared/charred literally hurt my teeth to chew. My mom ordered the honey bourbon chicken & shrimp and she was sooooo happy with it that she talked about it for two days. My husband had the chicken marsala pasta with crispy chicken and he felt it had been sitting in the window for a while as it was barely warm. Now, we finished eating, got to-go boxes, paid, and as we were leaving the guys next to us that ordered right after us still didn't have their entrees, so there were definitely some issues with the kitchen that night. It is a bit of a bittersweet story about my first Pine Ridge experience. My grandma grew up in this…read morearea, and this was her favorite place to get fried fish. She always talked about it and would eat here any time she was back in the area. I hoped to visit with her someday. She was supposed to go in July 2025 with some family, but was sick and not able to make the trip from her home in KC. Unfortunately she recently passed away, and our family gathered in Wisconsin for her memorial service. Pine Ridge was so gracious and accommodating and opened early for about 30 of us to visit and have grandma's favorite fried fish experience after we had her service. It was unbelievably good, and I now know why grandma loved coming to Pine Ridge all those years. Nothing better than being with family enjoying amazing food. There was also a game room that kept the youngest of our group occupied, apologies for all the yells of delight from our gaggle of cousins!
