My friend, Randy, said to her the sign says 9pm she told him she wasn't doing this with him right now cause she had a hard day. I asked if Randy and I could finish our pool game, and she said no cause they already said they were having a meeting at 8 pm. Which they didn't tell us until after we had already bought our drinks. I said that's BS, and she told me to get my ass out of her bar and that I could keep my ass and drugs oit of her bar. I told her I don't do drugs and she could test my ass. I then said half her staff does cococaine and called her a bitch as I was walking out. She threatened to kick my ass and the 6'5 bar back chic stood up acting like she was going to hit me. This was all while I was walking out to leave. Then after I left she called my boss, Penny, trying to get me fired. Thank God I have an awesome boss. Anyone can ask my boyfriend, Randy, Doug or Bill. In this particular building there are tables separated by glass windows very close to other people dining in. We politely asked to be seated in another booth so we can eat without others in our mouth while eating, waitress said no problem but than set another family next to us even though the restaurant was almost empty. Next waitress came to take out orders and we asked to move again while explaining the qualm. We ordered drinks (asking for closed bottled drinks (root beers) chips and guacamole which came out surprisingly fast but on looking at the glass we noticed bug parts (wings plus more), the bottle were open and the guacamole was old browning like it had been pre made from another table (leftovers), the glasses also had very visible lip prints and dirt around the rim and inner. They are a wonderful married couple and hands-on owners. Atmosphere- It's dark and like most dive bars they do allow smoking. However, they do have several high-tech smoke-eaters installed in the ceiling that mitigate the damage. There are multiple pool tables, electronic games, and dart boards. Plenty of TVs. A Touch Tunes juke box of course. A relatively small l-shaped bar. The entire space is very clean and in much better shape than many dive bars. In true dive bar fashion, they are open from 9 am to 2 am every day of the week. There's nothing like a shot and a beer for breakfast to get your day started! Customer Service- Some of the bartenders have been there, done that for decades. You'll have no problem with service. Expect your drinks to be cheap and don't look for anything fancy. On a hot Florida day, dark and cool and cheap drinks is much appreciated my many. If you are in the area, stop by for a pop or two or three!
