Looking for a restaurant with an outdoor (pet-freindly) patio. Decided to try Tabby's Bar and Grill based on their favorable Yelp reviews. The place has a large front porch that is pet-friendly. Our server was excellent. She was there quickly to get our beverage orders and returned quickly with the beverages and to tak our food orders. My wife had the Reuben with sweet potato fries and siad it was one of the best Reubens she's had recently. My SIL had the chicken version of the Philly cheese steak with fries; while my BIL had a traditional Philly cheesesteak with fries. Btoh SIL and BIL said their sandwiches were excellent. I opted for a cheeseburger with fries. My burger was very good but didn't make it into my Top Ten list. Our service was very good; the food was very good to excellent. read more

Was with a party of three on 4-1-25 I must say the food was great , was setting in the back dining room with two other large party's and when they left they asked me if I eat here often I explained to them this is my third time,twice for lunch and once for dinner, they both told me it was their first time and the last , and I agreed. ITS TOO DAM LOUD IN THE DINING ROOM TO ENJOY YOUR SELF, Their was a band that had a woman singing and she sounded like she was having surgery without anesthesia . I like to support local businesses but when you have to wear ear plugs to set and have dinner it's not for me. Atmosphere- Open a few months this is a big place with a bar side and a restaurant side. Some signage mentioned that they are working on adding a Tiki Bar. The décor is closest to a large sports bar than anything else. Pro Tip #1- Blindingly fast Wi-Fi is much appreciated! Customer Service- Ten stars! Watching this young lady work the bar is like attending a master class in customer service. I was incredibly well taken care of and will visit again just to experience it. Adult Libations- A separate drink menu with lots of choices to satisfy just about everyone. Menu- A substantial casual menu with pizza, subs, burgers, pasta, wings and on and on. I ordered their version of a French Dip at $10.99. I paid another $1 upcharge for fries. It was out quickly and good, but the sandwich was smaller than I expected. The au jus for dipping was not too salty which I appreciated. The fries were crispy and piping hot. At $11.99 total I think it's overpriced. They need to ditch the fry's upcharge or make the sandwich bigger. Pro Tip #2- 10% Yelp Check in discount is sweet! The menu is so large, and the service was so exceptional I'll be back. Not a bad stop in middle of the town. If you travel south of US 27. This may be your last good restaurant south of US 27 for a while. It good to stop and have food. I was there 11:30 am when not many people there. Once approached the noon time, this place fill up. Even the pool table there is some one using it. I got the $2 margarita to start. It is good enough drinks at noon. I got the blackened salmon. It come with fried. Not a bad meal at afternoon. I have extra blackened. It is decent enough. Service is good. It is attentive. We love going to Trivia Nights on Thursdays! We've tried several different things. My husband like the wings, but even the mild sauce is too spicy for me. I like the Caesar salad with chicken. I take the entire month of July as vacation and rent a Lakehouse. I frequent Tabby's because everyone is nice, the fools is good, and the price is fair. From the bartenders to the service team, they all do a great job. The French Onion Soup is great as are the pizzas. The potato skins are a healthy dose of yummy. It's hit or miss with this place. Went there for dinner on a Friday night in Oct. and the shrimp dinners and fried mushrooms were excellent. The service was too and everyone seemed to be working together and cared. Went there on New Years Eve with some out of town company expecting the same. Got there at 6:50 PM and were told right away they were closing at 8:00. Okay, fine. She told us right away they were out of pizza. We ordered 3 shrimp dinners later to find out no shrimp. Got 1 nondescript chicken breast dinner (blah), 2 hamburgers which were good and I ordered a rib eye steak for $32 (market price) that was worth about $12.99. It was cooked right, seasoned right but a grissly and pretty inedible piece. The ketchup served was some kind of homemade tomato soup - nothing like the real thing. The fried mushrooms were nothing like the ones we had previously. Meanwhile the bartender is closing the doors on all the liquor cabinets and people are being turned away at the door.
