Follow Jess J's direction to get to the Waianae Convenience Center. The Waianae residents refer to this location as the Waianae Dump. As you enter through the open gates there will be an individual sitting near a table on the right hand side. Inform the person what you are dumping then you'll get directed to the left, the center, or the right side of the dumping area. I was with my pops when we showed up at the Waianae Convenience Center. Pops wanted to get rid of his old lawnmower. Of course he saved the tires from the lawnmower. I informed the individual that we're dumping an old lawnmower. He directed us to unload the lawnmower on the left side near the blue pallet. I took notice that there were old washers, dryers, and stoves with ovens that were on the left side of the vicinity. Towards the center were two or three long dumpsters. On the other end of the vicinity had more washers, dryers, and maybe refrigerators. I love that the Waianae Mountains are right in the back of the Waianae Convenience Center. The dump site is also located near a solar farm. 41/100

As you come in there is a local guy assessing your bulk of trash then tells you which container to dump in.

The security guards here are abrasive, abusive and. . .for lack of a better description. . .dumb…read more My friend and I arrived with one load each from our own houses, together, so we could help each other load and unload. The security guard said "that's your two loads for the day." And when I explained that we were not from the same household we were just helping each other he decided to start an argument about it. Then this woman who was standing on the side decided to get involved, yelling at me, and she wasn't even in uniform so I didn't realize she was security until she mentioned "trespassing" which Allied Universal doesn't even have the authority to do as the convince centers are public property. They are public C&C properties paid for and run with taxpayer money. Whoever this woman was was swearing at us, threatening us, and did not provide her guard card when asked for it which is illegal. I'm going to go back sometime and get their names and report them to the state, they are like a little, brain damaged, mafia that thinks their collection of dumpsters is their kingdom and they don't understand that two cars can come from two totally different locations even if the drivers know each other. Allied Universal needs to put leashes on guards like this and the City and County should consider switching contract providers or going in house before Allied Universal's uneducated, rabid, employees get them sued for civil violations when they overextend their authority. Next time I go I'm going to have a 360 on the car and if this happens again I'm dragging Allied and the City and County to court. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable behavior from this security team. We took our ACTUAL second loads to Waipahu instead.

Get waved in, pull up and you will be told which dumpster to use, or where to drop you large item(s), wait your turn, and divest yourself of all that unneeded weight. That's the good news. It's nice and easy. The bad news is that you won't be the only person using their service. There's one lane in, and it's the same lane out. The line to get in is loooooong. A little more than a little patience will see you through and ultimately lighten your load. Good luck.
