What a beautiful experience. This was my first time riding horses at WOH. The team was so nice and informative on the ride. It was a group of 8, the horses definitely have their own personalities, and you could see it very well while on the trail. Some liked to be up ahead, while others wanted to eat or stay in the back. One wrangler is always in the front and one in the back and never rushed those that took a bit longer. The horses are well trained, which is nice for those who are not horse riders or are a bit hesitant. The views are amazing, breath taking, and calming. There are wild horses and cows iron property. We even got to see calves and colts with their parent(s). I highly recommend this.

Perfect overcast sky to make the ride extra enjoyable. Bring cold water with you in case its a sunny day.

As people living on the island it is always nice to get to actually explore it! Thank you Callaiu and Trish for a wonderful ride. My husband and I stayed back with Callaiu and he was telling us stories of his youth and present day life. It is wonderful to get to hear such stories. Thank you for sharing your day with us and being warm and kind. The view was incredible, with the wild flowers popping up everywhere. We even saw fish ponds used for fertilizer, baby cows and a horse that was birthed only the night before.

Mikiya is my favorite place Jiamin was so helpful Environment was so good, ppl were so nice to us Food was delicious

Mikiya is my favorite place. I love the food here. Jiamin was really helpful and everyone was so nice to us. Environment so chill. I will come back again!

What an Aloha experience! Even though the valley has been closed off for now, the experience you will feel is true Aloha - warm greeting by staff and cats! Guide took the time to assess everyone's ability and matched horses to same. Knowledge of trees, plants and animals on the ride were great! Being able to catch wild horses and one cooling off in a pond with a baby waiting on the edge was a treat! To have parting gifts of tastes local fruit with some to take with us was true Aloha - mahalo!!

Our decent towards the ocean.

There were four of us that took the Waipi'o on Horseback ride and it was fantastic. From the beginning it was a very well informed and easy to book tour. Their directions were very clear, very friendly employees, very helpful, and very knowledgeable. The ranch is beautiful and very lush and such a relaxing and fun ride. The guides were very informative to the native plants and fruit trees, they even let us try a few. So if you are looking for your first ride or a little more experienced ride, this is the place to go. Thank you WOH.

Horseback at this 700+acre ranch is the best way to see Hawai'i as the gem it is. Our Guide ( Kapo'a ) was fun, professional and welcoming in every way . He knew the horses like the old friends they are. He explained so many aspects of the ranch, flora, wildlife and how they worked together. We gently rode thru meadows that had wild horses roaming, or goats, or several species of cattle. No creature cared that we were in their midst. We saw wild mongooses skitter across our trail and rode thru working coconut, star fruit, banana, papaya, mango groves, each more impressive than the last. Tilapia ponds, babbling brooks ... then there was the incredible views.... Do not rush this adventure... then stop in the lovely village nearby for a vintage shopping adventure complete w ice cream, coffee or shaved ice.

Amazing ride, the horses are well trained, the saddles are comfy and the guides were kind, knowledgeable and very patient. Moses and Tricia were a pleasure to spend 3 hours with. I will definitely be back and emphatically recommend it!

Got lucky and found 2 Spots on this last Minute trip ... super friendly customer service. Experience was amazing for those who never rode a horse. The scenery, Views and untouched beauty is what makes our islands special. Learn about the ahuapua, history of the land and our connection to the land in hawaii. Would suggest this if you are a first Time horse back rider, it's not rough Terrain and very easy riding. The guides are young but experienced.

Perfect lunch stop for those on their way to Waipio Valley or heading out to Waimea or Hilo side. My partner and I shared the Tri-tip sandwich and a quiche. The quiche had a golden flaky crust, peppery bacon, and fluffy eggs. So good we forgot to take a picture. lol. The sandwich was packed with flavorful beef, roasted peppers, arugula, and a spicy horseradish sauce all on poi bread. Pricey at $18, but big enough for two to share. The combination of toppings on the homemade crunchy poi bread makes it worth it! Service was pretty quick, friendly, and helpful. There's so many cool local products to look at while you wait, so that's a nice way to pass the time. There's also outdoor seating and a bookshelf to browse. We definitely want to try more of their delicious sandwiches. Honokaa Country Market will be our go-to sandwich spot on the island!

The best. Above and beyond feels too trite to describe how Cheryl handled our ceremony, but above…read moreand beyond is how she operated in every possible way and our day was meaningful and poignant and we could not have imagined it better. On our first conversation, Cheryl said to me "Let me handle all the stress, you just get to Hawaii." I didn't have to worry about a thing; it was one of the easiest partnerships I've ever had with someone I'm working with to plan something. Cheryl went out of her way to accommodate every detail and request we asked for, from having our ukulele player learn our song (They Love Each Other by The Grateful Dead) on a weeks notice, to exploring every single option available to try and find a same-sex cake topper on Hawaii at the very last minute. When my mother wanted to be a sleuth to try and figure out our hotels, etc so she could do something, I put her in touch with Cheryl thinking she'd help her arrange dinner or a spa day at our hotel. Little did I know that Cheryl was talking to my mother and my mother-in-law almost daily, accommodating their requests and in the end keeping the big secret that our mothers paid for the entire day, photographer and wedding dinner. But even more special, Cheryl worked closely with them to give them the opportunity to put their small touches on our ceremony. Cheryl revealed the surprise after the ceremony and I can't tell you how special that was for us. Cheryl made it possible for our mothers to be part of our elopement and I can't thank her enough. Incidentally, my mother shared with me the pages and pages (.....and pages!) of emails she and my MIL exchanged with Cheryl. Even from 5,000 miles away, Cheryl's warmth and kindness touched our mothers and they will be forever friends. Our ceremony was intimate and and so well done. Her service was spot on for us as a couple, and Cheryl cried the whole time which made it feel like we were married by an old friend. Cheryl is everything you want for your Hawai'i elopement. She will forever hold an incredibly special place in our hearts and I couldn't ask for a kinder soul to remember as part of our day. Cheryl exudes love, fun and the spirit of aloha, and any couple who has her at the helm for their wedding is extremely blessed.

She truly took her time in getting to know us, our family and how we came to meet. She truly took her time in building a relationship with us. You can tell she loves people, loves love and her job. She put so much love and care into our day. I am not just saying she's the best because of how she married us. She truly is the best person in general. She invited us to her home, she treated us like family and her and her husband pas are both just all around kind and loving souls. She even went out of her way to help us with some local places to do , eat and see. Not only all that but she was down for an adventure elopement with us all the way down to the bottom of Waipi'o valley beach at sunrise. She was a trooper and one of the best friends/person to have married us. Thank you so much Cherly for your love and kindness
